Wait, did you just say it was SEPTEMBER??
It’s official, we’ve hit the time of year where every month feels like a week and before long we’ll be fa la la la laing our way to the Christmas dinner table.

Thankfully, although it may not feel like it, there is still a decent time till Christmas which is a big time for social content. Maybe now’s a good time to start planning some photo or video shoots so you can be super organised this year! Had a good chat with my wife about purpose the other night. Since going freelance, it’s been very hectic trying to adjust to being my own boss and the responsibilities that come with that. I’ve been pretty shattered and something that was fun to start with has started to feel like boring old work... it’s very easy to just chase after more and more projects and lose the joy that comes from making stuff! So I’m trying to slow down, remember whose I am and create from that.

Getting the final bits ready for the launch of our new website! Progress is going well - although things may slow down if I keep putting coffee next to my laptop on an unstable surface. Would not recommend.

Taking photos of myself is an art I have clearly mastered. Oh well, the business blogger was never the life destined for me.

It’s been such a fun and busy first week of freelance life! Highlights include:
- ticking to-dos on my whiteboard
- feeling like a champion when my spilt coffee didn’t hit my laptop
- rediscovering Müller Corners

Goals for next week:
- leave the house more than once
- paint over the whiteboard pen mark I put on the wall
- perfect peeling the lid off a yoghurt

Oh and I also worked on some fun client projects so that was good. Let me know if you want to be one.

Happy New Year! Shoutout to everyone like me who’s still trying to untangle their Christmas lights...

This new year is an exciting one for me over here - today is my first day working as a full time freelancer! Time to pop the champagne...or end up on google all day searching “how to be a full time freelancer”...

Despite this seemingly scary leap, I’m super excited for all that’s to come.

Happy Valentines Day! But also, Happy Congenital Heart Disease Awareness Day!
Many of you won’t know that I have only half a heart (bit weird, I know). Growing up I was never able to do sport or run around so I put all of my energy into music and making stuff!
All those hours I spent doing something I loved and something I could do have led me to start Creolta and now I get to turn my passion into a job.
I’m so thankful for everyone who’s walked with me through the CHD journey and I encourage you to find what you love and give everything you can to it.
