Hey everyone,

Hope you’re all winding down nicely for Christmas! I’m just closing out my current projects and opening a few spaces for early 2026.

If you’re planning to launch a game project next year and want an experienced, award-winning artist on board, I’ve discounted my day rate by a third to fill the remaining space on my calendar. It’s a small window and spots are first come, first served.

This never gets old, I'll never get complacent over this... I still get the same buzz of excitement every time I receive a copy of a game I've illustrated. I feel like George Mcfly receiving a copy of his book in Back to the Future.

Big Sur was a wonderful game to work on, such a great concept and one that lent heavily into visual cues to compliment the game mechanics. It the kind of work I love doing and I'm proud of the end result.

Thank you Chad Elkins for thinking of me to illustrate this project, and thank you for the copy! The production values, as I'd expect are top notch!

Hi all,
I find myself in an unusual situation where there has been a pause on a couple of big projects I've been working on. This happens on occasions when changes to the mechanics and reviews are put in place and it's left me with a few weeks free to take on new projects.
So, as this is additional time I wasn't expecting to fill, and because it's short notice, I'm incentivising my time and skills with a discount, 1/3 off for this duration.
So if anyone has any cool little indie projects they're looking to develop, and are looking for someone with a wealth of experience in doing artwork and design for over 50 published games, do get in touch.

Over the last few years I've spent my spare time on passion projects, getting back to my roots and illustrating the things I love. They've always been quite personal to me, something I do to decompress so I've never really done anything commercial with them.

My last piece based on The Lord of the Rings has gained quite a bit of interest so today I've uploaded this and my back catalog to Etsy, to see if they're of interest to the wider world.

Well, it's been quite a ride since January. That was when James Emmerson came to me with the concept for Tranquility, the Descent. We've historically worked together on two other versions over the last six years and I was excited to see what this one was all about.

It was brilliant! I played through the basic prototype and was instantly hooked. It's the perfect type of game for me, I rarely have time for complex games with deep rule sets, I do have time for easy to learn games with layers of complexity hidden beneath the surface and this was one.

So since then, we've spent the last ten months honing the design and getting it ready for today, Launch day on Kickstarter. It's launching in an hour in fact! 4pm GMT.

This is my fifth Kickstarter, well, I've been involved in dozens but my fifth personal one where It's a game I've helped develop and in case you were wondering, it's no less nerve wrecking than the first.

So just a quick thank you to all who have followed the journey of this, offered critique and help.
