Precious the fruit girl honestly gave me one of the best live videos I have watched on Facebook in a long time.
Yesterday, she mentioned some bloggers she respects and values, and I was impressed by the way she spoke about them. There was so much class, maturity, and understanding of how social media works.
She said some of these bloggers criticize her, yet that doesn't make her dislike them. In fact, she appreciates them because she understands that their job is not just to praise her. That is wisdom!
I also respect the fact that she keeps her distance from bloggers while still appreciating and respecting what they do. You can be criticized, called out, or disagreed with and still respect the person.
Social media has made people think that anyone who praises them is a friend, while anyone who criticizes them is an enemy. Precious showed that it doesn't have to be that way.
You can disagree and still respect. You can be criticized and still appreciate. You can admire people and still have boundaries.
I saw class, maturity and emotional intelligence, and I pray more people learn from her.
However, there was one part I did not like. When she mistakenly mentioned Precious Asa, I guess talking of Lord of lemon's sister, she reacted with words like “Who is that? God forbid…” and so on.
Honestly, that didn't sit well with me. Some people are already using that moment to mock Asa. Even if you don't like someone because of what you may have heard about them, I don't think it was necessary to display that reaction on a live stream.
In my opinion, it was unfair and made her look as if Asa was trash, and I don't think anyone deserves to be portrayed that way.
Apart from that moment, I genuinely saw a lot of class and maturity in that live.
Precious, keep your boundaries, keep your class, and keep being yourself. ❤️
Sometimes, you don't need to preach a lesson. You simply watch someone and learn.
