Empowering Unity – The Story of the 2025 Pacific Mini Games. What does Empowering Unity truly mean?

Our young reporters spent the final days of the Games asking that question, capturing heartfelt reflections from athletes, and leaders across the Pacific.

Set against the powerful energy of the Closing Ceremony, this film is a celebration of togetherness, resilience, and the moments that brought us all closer.

We’re incredibly proud and grateful to have been part of this unforgettable journey and to help tell the stories that made these Games so special.

Did you know? We were the first organisation to take young people to the Olympics as accredited journalists! Back in London 2012, seven of our 18-19 year-old crew members captured stories straight from the Games, and that’s where our Olympic legacy began.

That legacy lives on through After the Flame - our behind-the-scenes Olympic podcast created by young people, for young people. We spotlight the untold stories of the Games, featuring:
🏅 Athletes chasing Olympic dreams
📣 Coaches, families & support teams
🎥 Organisers, press officers & media crews

Our latest episode features Gareth Burrell, PR & Communications Manager at British Cycling. Our Salford Media Club crew handled everything; from research and questions to recording with total professionalism. They explored Gareth’s career journey, love of sport, and advice for the next generation.

📍 Recorded at the Content Studio, MediaCityUK
