Princess Jordan provided an emotional and hard hitting assembly. Telling parts of her real life story growing up and dealing with homosexuality in the 90s. Our students left the assembly touched by her honesty . Lots of our students stayed behind to ask her personal questions which they themselves related too. The students were buzzing at the diversity of our assembly and some of the topics that were spoke about openly. Thanks once again PJ.

I would highly recommend Princess Jordan as a guest speaker in school. Her honest and heartfelt discussion of her own experience of bullying in school had a profound effect on our students and has inspired our student leaders to focus on LGBTQ acceptance in our Academy next year. Princess Jordan’s assembly and performance is accessible to students and gave them a really important first hand insight into the history of LGBTQ discrimination in the UK. Students have reported that her talk and performance was the highlight of their school year and have requested that she return to school to talk to a wider group of students. Her discussion of important issues is presented with honesty, humour and fun. She inspired some of our students to talk publicly about their own sexuality in a way which they had not done previously in front of other teachers and students. Both and I and our students would recommend her as a guest speaker in school.
