2025 has been As December Falls’ biggest year yet.

The Nottingham rock band kicked things off with a bang, announcing their new album 'Everything's on Fire But I'm Fine'. Since then, they’ve dropped a string of standout singles — “Therapy,” “For the Plot,” “Fall Apart,” and more — and within just one week of release, the album smashed its way to No. 8 on the Official Album Chart.

They followed that momentum with their largest headline tour ever, tearing across Europe through October and November. They also teamed up with rhythm game Muse Dash, releasing “Flametide”, the theme song for the game’s new character, Pirate Rin.

And they’re not slowing down — an extensive UK tour is set for February 2026.

At AMF, we listened to 2023's Einar Solberg's first solo album, '16', over and over, so we couldn't wait to see where is stylistic evolution would take him...

2025 saw Einar return to his solo project with “Stella Mortua”, a powerful new single recorded with the Norwegian Radio Orchestra. Cinematic, emotional, and boldly arranged, it marks a compelling new step in defining his artistic voice outside of Leprous.

And 2026 is already taking shape: Einar will bring his solo material to the stage with a run of EU headline shows, alongside a full band, throughout September and October. A vivid new chapter is clearly underway, and we can't wait to hear more.

Lowen closed out 2024 with a bang. Their second full-length album, 'Do Not Go To War With the Demons of Mazandaran', was met with widespread critical acclaim — earning 5/5 from Kerrang!, 9/10 from Metal Hammer, #2 Prog Album of the Year and #9 Album of the Year in Metal Hammer, and landing at #29 in Kerrang!’s Albums of the Year list.

2025 proved to be just as huge for the Iranian prog doom band. Drawing on Persian heritage as a backdrop for exploring themes of exile — and as a direct response to Iran’s political restrictions, where metal and women singing unaccompanied are illegal — Lowen continued to build serious momentum. The band supported Zakk Sabbath, Unto Others, and Creeper, alongside headline shows and major festival appearances across the UK and Europe.

We were completely mesmerised by Nina’s voice at their Bloodstock performance, and we can’t wait to see Lowen live again in 2026.

Yet another new signing: Stewart Cararas — a musician, producer, and mixer whose work stretches across rock, metal, pop, hip-hop, and film.

In 2025, Stewart continued to show why he’s one of the most versatile creatives around: producing for George Lynch’s industrial project The Banishment, co-writing with Blackberry Smoke, shaping Frankie and the Studs’ album Life’s a Glitch, and returning to the stage as guitarist for the launch of Burton C. Bell’s solo project.

With credits spanning everyone from Brian Wilson and Joe Perry to Juvenile and Billy Ray Cyrus, Stewart’s influence runs wide — and 2025 only expanded that reach.

A quietly prolific force, and a name we expect to keep hearing well into 2026.

Burton C Bell , of Fear Factory fame, remains one of industrial metal’s true pioneers — and one of its most unmistakable voices.

In May 2025, he released a new solo single, “Savages”, accompanied by a striking lyric video. The track supported his June Australian tour and continued his exploration of themes he has long been drawn to: technology, politics, and personal freedom.

We hope to see Burton live in Europe and UK in 2026!

Our ears are still recovering from Raging Speedhorn's set at Damnation Festival last month… The Corby’s sludge-metal powerhouse is easily one of the loudest live bands we’ve heard in a long time.

From the release of 'Night Wolf' — their catchiest yet heaviest album to date — to a run of sold-out shows in November celebrating their debut album, 2025 was a busy year for the (ironically) self-proclaimed “saviours of British metal.”

And with the first 2026 dates already being announced, it seems the onslaught is far from over.
We’ll try to remember to bring earplugs next time…

In September 2025, UK-based Russian prog duo Iamthemorning released a special box set of 'Live at St. Matthias', recorded in London in 2024. The expansive triple release — featuring full sets from the band, individual performances by Marjana Semkina and Gleb Kolyadin, and a concert film — was launched via Kickstarter, where it surpassed every goal in under a week.

Ahead of the release, a live clip of 'Chalk & Coal' went on to win Prog Magazine’s Track of the Week in August.

We hope to catch them live in 2026.

When we first heard OPIA single 'On Death’s Door', we instantly became fans — and knew they would be a perfect fit for our roster.

So we were thrilled to welcome them to AMF in April 2025, just one month before the release of their debut full-length 'I Welcome Thee, Eternal Sleep'. Mixing gothic and funeral doom foundations with a dynamic, epic twist, the album made a strong impact: #3 on Dark Webzine’s Best Albums of 2025 and #2 on The Dark Melody’s 50 Best Albums of 2025.

With members based in both the UK and Spain, Opia are currently touring alongside one of their biggest influences, Swallow the Sun, across the UK and Ireland. And they’re not slowing down — the band has already confirmed festival appearances for 2026, including Doom Heart Fest in Milan and Into the Grave in the Netherlands. But watch this page — more announcements are on the way.

'In Resonance Nexus' was one of our favourite albums of 2024 — Earthtone9 ’s first record in 11 years: " a tantalising new dawn for one of British metal’s most essential, endlessly compelling bands" (Kerrang).

2025 saw the Nottingham Alt-metal band back on the road to promote the album, followed by a major milestone: the 25th anniversary of their classic ArcTanGent, celebrated with an extensive UK and Ireland tour running from September through December.

We are sure we'll hear more — a lot more — from this band in 2026.

In February 2025, we were mesmerised by Black Foxxes raw and emotional performance at the Deaf Institute in Manchester. Only a few weeks later, the band released 'The Haar' — a record that confirmed what we already felt that night: we were witnessing something truly unique.

The Exeter indie-rock trio have been active for over a decade, steadily evolving and gaining momentum. But 2025 may have been their most active year yet: an extensive UK and EU tour in February and March, a new album, and another run of summer shows across the UK.

March and April 2026 will see the band return to the road across the EU and UK — see you there.
