Being a doula is more than just assisting births its about support family life. When I was a mum I had a pretty good network around me but I still struggled at times. In other cultures this wouldn’t be allowed to happened because extended family and friends would be there for that woman and her family. The whole village would be involved. We’ve lost the art of helping others and spending time with them to get them back on there feet when they need it. We’ve become selfish and isolated. Well, I am here to challenge that concept and to challenge the idea that a doula is only for hippies or the wealthy. So I’m here for you to support with anything you want around family life and I have a great team of directors who are supporting me as part of Doula Nyree CIC. I am a trained Doula and have 22 years as a leading professional in childcare. I also have 7 children who are from birth and adoption.....so if you want to try my services then you can either go through a referral from a professional who may be working with you where your organisation may be prepared to fund all or part of my prices or message me to see what I can offer and how much it will cost.
