It’s been another great week meeting new and existing Dog Groomer customers aswell as a couple of hairdresser businesses, and a good number of horse owners frantically fighting the elements looking after there rides.
Thank you to all that have invited me to their workplaces and horse yards. 🤗

I’m taking bookings for Dog Groomer Support visits over the next few weeks leading into December, and am already scheduling the following areas, and others, with dates tbc.

WOW.. what a busy month October was, and already we’re pacing well into November with much needed
Dog Groomer Support Sessions.

I’ve had everything from dropped favourite scissors, poorly sharpened correction work, clipper servicing and fault diagnosis, right through to suddenly failing dryers needing speedy attention and of course servicing as a prevention of failure 👍

Yes, it’s coming.. 🥳

The Christmas rush will soon be upon us (don’t shoot me), the sillyness of moved appointments and no shows in the grooming parlour has already started, and the panic last minute.. can you do my dog *yesterday* attitude will be hitting in about a month or 6 weeks time 🙈

So, the question is… are you, and is your much needed equipment ready to cope with it when needed 🤔✂️🐾.

If you are prepared, like these groomers equipment in my pics.. Great 👍, but if it’s not yet the case.. don’t be a last minute panicked, chaotic mess🙃

My diary is filling with requests and I’m flitting about all over from Plymouth to Penzance, Launceston to Barnstaple, torquey to Tintagel.

Clipper Blade Sharpening - Please Share!

Great news for those looking for clipper blade sharpening and servicing!!
We have a date for clipper blade sharpening for you 👀

John from 2sharpen will be here on Monday October 27th to sharpen your blades in our carpark - TR16 5TJ.

Blades will be ready for collection the next day.

What do you need to do?
- Drop in to us by Monday October 27th.
- In a bag with a piece of paper with your name and number on it.
- £10 per blade/set to be paid in cash when you drop it off.

Servicing £40 plus parts to be paid upfront - John will speak to you beforehand about costs. The fee includes a £25 non refundable assessment fee.

If your thinking.. no, my clippers don’t need servicing, their fine, maybe think again 🤔

Just look carefully at the hair ingress in this set, and this isn’t unusual to find either !! 🫣

That hair gets into the oil, the grease, wears parts like a stiff bristled brush, and the dog dander covers the electronics that can lead to circuit failure etc 🙈, Not to mention blade drives that are weakened even if they sometimes look fine.. heat and a beating does take its toll 🥲

A clipper service entails much more than just a blade drive change and blow the hair out as i have found is often the case.

This set required new gearing and a new hinge.. luckily that was easily sorted on site for this groomer as all parts were available at hand, there and then.

The 2nd picture is a correctly serviced Heiniger Clipper, stripped, de greased, cleaned, inspected and set right ready to return to a life of hard graft.
Both are the same make of clipper (didn’t take the after pic on 1st) but 2nd shows one done the day before.

Look after your equipment Groomers, and it in turn will work well for, and look after you.

Wouldn’t this be £36 well invested!!

As a Dog Groomer Business Operator myself, and having built up and converted multiple Dog Grooming Vans and Parlours from scratch, i have been through, and seen, just about every aspect of the struggles Dog Groomers face in their everyday chosen careers.

Hi everyone.

It’s been another great week meeting new and existing customers, so firstly, thank you again for supporting me 🤗

I’ve been busy gathering up items for a while now, to enable that little more help where needed for all the Dog Groomers I visit with regular sharpening support.

As a result I now carry a large stock of used, sharpened clipper blades ready to be put to work. Probably near 100 to choose from. 😉

Also, in addition to this I have a good number of scissors to choose from should you need that something else to work with.
**These will be fully sharpened and tested for you on site at time of choosing. ✂️✂️**

I may also have clippers fully serviced ready to go.. so worth asking. 🐾🐾
