**UPDATE**
Today we received a donation of £500 directly to our bank account. We are now half way to our goal of £1000. I have reduced the gofund.me target to £500. Thank you so much for the donations so far. This will allow us to start some much needed jobs sooner than we thought. We will continue to post updates.
Can you help Wrestlingworth Memorial Hall?
Good afternoon!
Our hall was built in 1939. As the years progress the hall has less regular users and our committee is getting smaller. It's becoming much harder to maintain the hall. We feel the hall is a vital community asset that would be hugely missed by the community if it was to close it's doors.
We would like to raise £1000 (the fundraiser starts at £600 and increments.
We need a new gate to better our security and as you have probably noticed the front of the hall (and back) is in desperate need of repainting. We tried this year to get a grant for a new hearing loop in the hall. Unfortunately we were turned down by the Parish Council and our Ward Councillors did not answer our emails. Our hearing loop is dated and does not work properly. We'd like the hall to be inclusive for all.
