Are you a small or micro business based in North Yorkshire, and you have been trading for over 2 years?
Here is an opportunity to access a grant of £1000 - £10,000 towards lasting assets.

Businesses can apply for one grant of between £1,000 and £10,000. 25% match funding is a requirement of this programme. This means businesses have to fund 25% of the total project cost themselves.

The total project cost must not exceed £30,000. The grant request must not exceed £10,000.

Wow! 😍

Loving seeing the organic figures on some clients accounts this month so far! After an amazing morning spent with a fantastic Peer to Peer group through Yorkshire in Business, I sat down with a cuppa and had a quick look at some page insights and I love seeing those positive percentages!

Posting, sharing and interactions all encourages organic reach and growth. Having an organic based following means the people you are talking to have a real intrest in your business and what you have to say, it's about quality not quantity. 😉

Imposter syndrome! 🫣

Sorry it's been a while since posting, I have been busy working away in the background and working with a wonderful local businesses and seeing some AMAZING results!

Here's the bit I know most small business owners (or possibly people in general) will relate to, I had a crisis of social media identity...how ridiculous right, it's what I do!!!
BUT self promotion cripples me like a lot of other business owners I know what I have to offer is worthy and if I was talking to a client I'd be like 'You have so much to offer, it's amazing! Let's shout about it!'
Yet when it come to myself the self doubt takes over and I overthink it all!

Yesterday I attended Yorkshire in Business networking and it really gave me a kick up the bum! I had a lovely time talking to some of the attendees and they were interested in ME and what I had to say and how I was doing!
So no more hiding (unless it's behind my very cute puppy...who of course has her own Instagram account, because it's what I do!) and getting back to giving small businesses helpful, simple hints and tips for your social media!

Small Business Shout Out!

On our way to our lovely walk in Broxa yesterday after school, someone (😳) forgot to grab a snack for the small person who always has hanger issues after school! 🤦🏼‍♀️

So as we passed Cumboots Dairy Farm we popped in and used the Milk Machine for the 1st time, we also got a *Chocolate Milkshake Shot to go in it - Absolutely delicious!

Sooo...who has downloaded the app THREADS?

If you have what's your thoughts?

I thought it was easy to set up and nice it pulled the information and followers from Instagram. Seemed easy to post and reply, but it seems like finding people outside of your current connection could take time to find and it doesn't currently use/recognise hashtags to assist in finding aligned/common subjects/topics.

Overall I think it has potential but maybe needs a little more development before it can reach it's full optimisation.

𝙉𝙤 𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙤𝙧 𝙬𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙜, 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙙𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩!

Being in business you get so much advice from so many different people.
You often hear 'No that's not right i'd do it this...' or information that contradicts other information.
I have come to the conclusion there is no wrong and right because if there was EVERYONE would be doing the 'right' thing!

It's the same with Marketing and Social Media if there was a formula that worked then everyone would be doing it!
Everyone and every business is different, so it's finding what works best for you.
Yes there are certain things that can help you and certain analytics which can guide you, but these will change overtime, so it is important you monitor and assess what is working and what isn't working for you regularly!
