Let’s be real for a second…

should social media managers be responsible for bringing in business and sales?

I think…. Absolutely. Maybe I’ve stuck my foot in it by saying that. 😂

If you’re managing social media just to “post for the sake of posting,” what’s the point? The end goal should always be BRAND AWARENESS!! Being seen!!!! growing a brand, building trust, and yes… driving sales.

Brand awareness is a huge part of it. You want people to see you, remember you, and connect with what you do. But awareness without conversion is just pointless. When you’re doing it right, creating intentional content, showing up consistently, and communicating value, the sales will follow, it may take time but they will.

So yes, social media managers should care about results. You’re not just running an account, you’re building a brand that people buy from.

Because if your content isn’t helping move the needle… what are you really doing it for? 👀
