Hope you’re all enjoying this lovely running weather !
Just to keep everyone up to date… here’s a spot of event news 🗞️
Brigg Poppy 10k - 29th of October, less than 100 spots left (we’ve over 700 runners now!) and we will shut entry up ahead of the day, or when it’s full!
The Hoober Homes Doncaster City 10k - 26th November, over 2100 now entered !! And less than 800 spots left. !
If you want your “name” printed on your number then the deadline is 12:00 1st November, final postage with no name 😞 is on the 8th of November.
And Christmas 🎅…. We will come back about that next week, but go take a look 👀 if you’re feeling festive as we’ve plenty of amazing 🤩 festive adventures lined up !
The great sprout scuttle 5k & 10k / Rudolph’s revenge 10k / Santa safari 3k / pyjama express 3k … we got a bit carried away with the names !

We are busy packing numbers for Brigg Poppy 10k & Military Challenge 2023
With just over 100 places left for the 10k and 25 spaces left for The Military Challenge, it is going to be a busy event😊
You still have time to book this PB potential 10k course and also support the Poppy Appeal!

It’s been a beautiful day for The Hedgehog Half 2023🦔🦔🦔🦔
We just wanted to say a massive thank you to all of the runners 🏃‍♂️ 🏃‍♀️ who joined us today , Andrews Hedgehog Hospital and all of the amazing volunteers, who we couldn’t do the event without!
We hope that you are all taking it easy for the rest of the day and having a well deserved rest 🦔
Once we have all the photos together, we will get them added on here, but in the meantime, keep your 👁️ out on our Curly’s Athletes Chat page for volunteer photos. 🙂

2000 runners!
Now all entered and ready to go for the 2023 Hoober Homes Doncaster City 10k 😀on November the 26th!.. so that means we have 1,2,3,4... just less 1000 spots left, so it will fill ahead of the day (just to pre warn you! currently it looks like by the 19th of Nov)
The medals have arrived, so has 3000 hot chocolate cups, and if you've ordered a t-shirt, they are here too! (don't worry the pies aren't here yet... we like them fresh!)
Deadlines you need to know!
- October 23rd: deadline for you to get your 'horse' name printed on your race number and posted out!
- Postage deadline number 2: this will either be October the 23rd or the 6th of November... we're working on this with our lovely timing team!

The Brigg Poppy 10k and Military Challenge - October the 29th 😀
Less than 200 spaces left!
A fantastic PB potential, flat and fast, England athletics licensed 10k course.
An incredible spectator friendly atmosphere starting and finishing in the heart of Brigg market place!
Exceptional medals, cake at the finish all while supporting our charity partners at the Royal British Legion.
Or
Take on the military challenge held on the same course, completing the 10k distance with weighted pack.
You'll be marched down to the start line ahead of the 10k race, we pay our respects, and then you are cheered on at the start from 800 runners and hundreds of spectators lining the streets!

A huge WELL DONE to every walk, jog, runner, volunteer and team members who made today's Run for Wildlife 5k so amazing 😀
Thank you for all your support and raising thousands in support of the Wildlife Foundation!
A truly fabulous day and surprising weather!
We're now all wrapped up, enjoying some snacks and fizzy pop ... we hope you all got to do the same!
If the legs are feeling ready for it.. then here's some of our events coming up with spaces still left!
October 29th - The Brigg Poppy 10k, exceptional atmosphere and a PB course! (75% full)
November 26th - The Hoober Home Doncaster City 10k! (1800 runners already entered!) Fantastic host venue, amazing facilities and a pie for every runner at the finish!
December 17th - Christmas Day for runners, The Great Sprout Scuttle 5k & 10k trail run, Rudolphs Revenge 10k night run and the family fun Pyjama Express!
Not forgetting we're back at the Wildlife Park with our Christmas Santa Safari 3k on the 10th of December!
