Did you know that Harewood House in Leeds is home to some of the most outstanding pieces of Chippendale furniture ever produced. This includes the 250-year-old state bed that dazzles visitors (pictured here), and is one of the most expensive pieces he ever made (costing around £400 in 1773, £75,000 in today’s money)!
