Thank you to everyone who came to the Sheep Fair today! We had such a good time, we'll do it all again tomorrow! Some outline timings & parking details for Sunday. Pls buy a programme (ยฃ2) for full details - all proceeds go to Yorkshire Air Ambulance & local charities

10.00 - Town Hall & School exhibitions open
10.45 - Judging of sheep commences
12.00 - Flower Festival opens in St. Mary's Church
11.30 - 3.30 (at intervals through the day): sheep showing in the market place, and sheep racing in field beyond churchyard
1.45 Bishop Blaize procession from Maple Creek to the Square, followed by Brass/Silver band. Then the fun continues again with the Sheep Showing and sheep racing. The last events take place around 3.30 pm.

Through out both days, you can see judging of the many different sheep breeds with an excellent commentary outlining the farming year, stalls in the market place and in the field behind St. Mary's Church.

Refreshments are served in all our cafes and pubs, as well as in the Methodist Chapel and other locations in aid of various local charities. Masham's shops will be open and ready to welcome you too, so please allow plenty of time for your visit!

Please don't park on the roads - cars cause an obstruction and could get scratched by the farm vehicles. There is plenty of parking on the Recreation Ground on the Avenue. Charge: ยฃ10 per car (proceeds to Yorkshire Air Ambulance and local charities)
We don't make an entry charge for the Sheep Fair and you get LOTS of free entertainment so we hope you'll be generous with your donations and come to buy a programme from the trailer in the middle of the market place.

Disabled parking is behind the church and is sign-posted: drive through the market place and then down Millgate to reach it.

The weather forecast looks good but if it dares to drizzle, there are plenty of indoor places to visit including the flower festival in the church, the Town Hall displays/stalls, woolcrafts in the School, as well as all the shops, cafes, pubs, and breweries.
