Have you been along to our markets recently? Sevenoaks Markets are held every Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm on the High Street and in Bligh's Walk.

Come along tomorrow to buy fresh fruit and veg, flowers, baked goods, crafts, jewellery, cheese and more. Kent Wildlife Trust will also be there!

We also have our Wednesday Market on the High Street from 8 am to 2 pm.

We are pleased to announce we have secured a £20,000 grant to support the installation of solar batteries at our Bat & Ball Centre from the West Kent Rural Grant Scheme, part of the UK Government's Rural England Prosperity Fund.

The project will significantly enhance the building’s energy efficiency and sustainability.

This initiative is part of Sevenoaks Town Council’s Green Community Investment Plan, demonstrating our continued commitment to environmentally responsible projects that benefit the local area.

Thank you to Mainly Sax, who gave a wonderful performance on the Vine Bandstand last night.

Kids were also loving the free bouncy castle at the event!

Our Music on the Bandstand concerts continue on Sunday with Miss D and The Loop Deluxe and Soul Train Choir performing rock and soul covers from 3 pm to 5 pm.

You can spot them along the High Street, in Upper High Street Gardens, at Vine Gardens and at Rockdale Housing Association!

Join us on Friday 15th August to commemorate the 80th anniversary of VJ Day with a concert on the Bandstand from 6 pm to 8 pm.

Jessica De Giudici will be performing popular Vera Lynn and 40s songs. We hope to see you there!

Earlier that day, we will be holding a Flag Raising and Wreath Laying Ceremony on the Vine at 11 am. You are welcome to come along.

Have you seen the ideas for the future of traffic movement in Sevenoaks Town Centre? Have your say on our DRAFT Sevenoaks Town Centre Masterplan!

One of the opportunities the masterplan looks at is potential traffic and pedestrian movement options. We are seeking views on the potential options being explored. Should any of these be taken forwards in the future – either by the Highway Authority or another body – traffic impact and road safety assessments, as well as consultation on more detailed plans, would take place first.

Our consultants will review all the feedback we receive and produce a revised draft masterplan for final approval and adoption by the Town Council.

🎤 Open Mic organised by House in the Basement Youth Café on Thursday 14 August, 6 pm to 8 pm

🎤 VJ Day 80th Anniversary Concert with Jessica De Giudici on Friday 15 August, 6 pm to 8 pm

🎤 Ian Fox on Sunday 17 August, 3 pm to 5 pm

We hope you'll join us at these family-friendly FREE events! Bring along your chairs and picnic rugs.

On Thursdays, we will also have a free bouncy castle (weather dependent).

Thank you to Kent Youth Jazz Orchestra for a wonderful performance on the Vine on Sunday. The skies were a little grey, but that didn't stop the community from enjoying a delightful afternoon of great music.

Our free Music on the Bandstand concerts continue this week with Mainly Sax on Thursday 7 August 6 pm to 8 pm (with a free bouncy castle if the weather is good), and Miss D & The Loop on Sunday 10 August 3 pm to 5 pm.
