Redcar Bears Speedway vs Glasgow Tigers Speedway, BSN Series Semi-Final 2nd Leg, Sunday 12th October, 6:00pm.

IT'S RACE DAY at Redcar as the Agilia Bears look to reach a second Final in 2025 as they take on cross-border rivals Glasgow Tigers in the second leg of their BSN Series Semi-Final.

It's been a busy yet frustrating time for the Bears of late, largely thanks to the Poole Pirates who ended their Championship Playoff hopes at the semi-final stage last week and defeated the Bears in the Knockout Cup Final at the ECCO Arena on Friday - and it's those marauding Pirates who await once again if Redcar defeat the Tigers today.

Glasgow are one of only two sides to have won at the ECCO Arena in 2025 with a 48-42 victory in the Championship back in August (see video) but the Bears pushed them hard in the first leg of their BSN Series semi-final at Ashfield last month, losing out by just two points and leaving today's hosts the favourites to progress.

Redcar will once again track Scunthorpe's Jake Allen as a guest for the unwell Erik Riss while Jody Scott returns after a spell out with concussion - and he made a fine comeback yesterday with second place to Luke Harrison in the British Under-19 Championship at Workington. Glasgow meanwhile are at full strength with the hugely experienced Chris "Bomber" Harris leading the side alongside fellow ECCO Arena specialists Leon Flint and Kyle Howarth, while Danish prospect Villads Nagel will be one to watch after a mightily impressive debut at Redcar in the summer.

British Under-19 Championship, Saturday 11th October, 1:00pm.

YOUNG GUNS go for it at the GT Tyres Arena this afternoon, with a feast of Speedway action headlined by the 2025 British Under-19 Championship.

Sixteen of the UK's top young talents will battle for the trophy around the Workington shale, with Redcar's Ace Pijper defending the title he won at Oxford last year.

Pijper will undoubtedly be one of the favourites given his form in the Championship this season and this time around brother Stene joins him in the line-up. His main rivals will include Workington's own Vinnie Foord who will draw on his home track knowledge, Scunthorpe's Luke Harrison who recently appeared in the FIM Speedway of Nations 2 at Torun, plus William Cairns and Cooper Rushen who are two of the biggest talents emerging onto the British speedway scene.

Following the main event, the British Youth Championship's 250cc and 125cc classes will take to the track, showcasing yet more precocious racing talent and possibly a few future British Under-19 Champions!

FIM European Sidecar Championship Final, Sandbahn Haunstetten ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ช , Sunday 28th September, 1:30pm CET (12:30pm UK time).

IT'S RACE DAY in Germany and three-wheeled action takes centre stage, with Europe's top 500cc Sidecar teams set to contest the 2025 FIM European Sidecar Final at Haunstetten in Bavaria.

There are few more spectacular forms of track racing than the high-speed antics of the sidecar racers, and this year teams from five nations will battle it out to be the European Champions. Sidecar racers of course do it in pairs, and the skills and daring manoeuvres of the passengers have to be seen to be believed.

Since the start of the Championship in 1980 Germany has been the most dominant nation and Markus Venus will start as favourite as he goes for his third title in four years with passenger Markus Eibl looking for his second. Markus Brandhofer and Sandra Mollema will also be among the favourites for the host nation, the pair having taken the 2023 title and driver Brandhofer with five podiums to his name.

Great Britain's Mitch Godden/Paul Smith have finished runner-up in four of the past five stagings and will be desperate to go one better, while Josh Goodwin will look to follow up his gold medal from 2014. Elsewhere the challenge from France is getting ever stronger and the Comblon family took bronze last year, while Mike Frederiksen and Steven Grandt represent Denmark and with Wilfried Detz absent Klaas Kregel/Jurgen Kramer are the lone all-Dutch crew.

Follow the action LIVE on Tapes Up TV - action begins at Haunstetten at 1:30pm local time (12:30pm UK time).

Workington Comets vs Berwick Bandits Speedway, Championship League, Saturday 27th September, 3:00pm.

IT'S RACE DAY at Workington as the Comets content their final home Championship League meeting of the 2025 season as they face Northern rivals Berwick Bandits at the GT Tyres Arena.

While the Comets are no longer able to make the end of season playoffs, this should prove a close encounter to bring down the curtain on their League programme for 2025, especially with the bonus point up for grabs following a 47-35 defeat in the return fixture at Shielfield Park.

Workington are without two key riders with Fraser Bowes and Jacob Hook both absent, the Comets operating rider replacement at number two while track specialist Jonatan Grahn of Edinburgh Monarchs comes in to guest at reserve. Berwick meanwhile are without Sam Hagon who suffered a dislocated hip in the return fixture two weeks ago, and it's rider replacement for the British Under-21 Champion, while Nick Morris will face a late fitness test following his recent crash riding for Sheffield in the Premiership.

Redcar Bears Speedway vs Oxford Speedway, Championship Knock Out Cup, Friday 26th September.

IT'S RACE DAY at Redcar and the Agilia Bears are up for the Cup as they face the Oxford Cheetahs in their first leg of their Championship Knock Out Cup semi-final.

The Bears will look to extend their excellent League form which saw them beaten at home just once, their final fixture of the regular campaign seeing a comprehensive 53-37 win over the Workington Comets (see video). They will try and build as big a lead as they can ahead of the return fixture at Cowley on Sunday, a place in the Final against holders Poole Pirates awaiting the winners.

Scunthorpe's Jake Allen guests in place of the unwell Erik Riss with Redcar otherwise at full strength, while Oxford operate rider replacement for Jordan Jenkins who is out for the season with knee and rib injuries. Sam Masters and Latvian Francis Gusts lead the Cheetahs attack, while former Bear Jonas Knudsen forms a powerful reserve pairing with Cameron Heeps.

2025 FIM Long Track World Championship Final Four, Speed Centre Roden ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฑ , Sunday 21st September, 2:00pm CET (1:00pm UK time).

THE DESTINY of the FIM Long Track World Championship will be decided this afternoon at Speed Centre Roden in the Netherlands, with three riders still in contention for the title.

Last year the Dutch saw Martin Smolinski spark huge celebrations as he lifted his second consecutive World Championship and his third in all (see video), but he will not be making it a fourth crown as he has withdrawn from this year's finale due to injuries sustained in Final Three at ScheeรŸel. This leaves fellow German Lukas Fienhage, who won the Grand Final at Roden last season, as the title favourite, but he is just two points clear of Zach Wajtknecht whose fellow Brit Chris Harris is just two points further back - and the Brits are in top form having won the Long Track of Nations title alongside Andrew Appleton last weekend at Vechta. It will certainly be a nail-biting contest between this trio to see who will take the World title.

Elsewhere home honour for the Netherlands is upheld by Dave Meijerink and Mika Meijer along with Romano Hummel who returns to World Championship action as the wild card, while European Grass Track Champion Kenneth Hansen is joined by fellow Dane Patrick Kruse who makes his debut at World level. Tero Aarnio adds further Scandinavian flavour, and new Under-23 World Cup Champion Timo Wachs is also among the entry.

Follow the action LIVE on Tapes Up TV - racing begins at 2pm CET (1pm UK time).

FIM Long Track of Nations, Reiterwaldstadion Vechta ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ช , Saturday 13th September, 7:30pm CET (6:30pm UK time).

SEVEN NATIONS face off in Germany this evening as the battle to be crowned the leading nation in international Long Track racing commences at Vechta.

Last year at Morizรจs it was Germany who came out on top to win the title for a remarkable tenth time defeating hosts France in the Final, but this time around only Lukas Fienhage remains from that victorious side. With Erik Riss and Martin Smolinski absent, the home track hero is joined by the vastly experienced Stephan Katt and Jรถrg Tebbe plus newcomer Mario Niedermeier.

Last year's beaten finalists France are led by Mathias Trรฉsarrieu and Jordan Dubernard who recently booked their places in next year's FIM Long Track World Championship, as did Patrick Kruse who lines up for Denmark alongside European Grass Track Champion Kenneth Hansen.

Great Britain track their regular trio of Chris Harris, Zach Wajtknecht and Andrew Appleton, while Romano Hummel leads the Dutch attack alongside World Long Track regulars Dave Meijerink and Mika Meijer and Tero Aarnio heads Finland's challenge after a good performance in the recent World Championship round at ScheeรŸel. The Czech Republic complete the field, headed by the experienced Hynek Stichauer and Jan Macek while Jan Hlacina warmed up with a fine showing in last night's Under-23 World Cup, won by Germany's Timo Wachs.

Follow the action LIVE on Tapes Up TV - tapes go up on Heat One at 7:30pm CET (6:30pm local time).
