It's the sound that builds community and exorcises demons. The sound that embraces difference and channels sensitivity. It's the sound of loss, deprivation and joy. It's tradition, identity, folksong; it's the sound of the North East."

It's been a long time. Since I was with music and my soul. Years. We abandoned each other.

I care no f***s for a brand, or an ego when I share myself on the decks. We are all equal.

So, as I played for the first time, casually with a sh*tty usb, and awake for a day or two at the transition of Jabarwocky to new managers (❤️) - I felt my soul again. For the first time in too long. I was scared. Good. I felt.

My decks collect dust. I thought I'd lost my feeling with everything, everyone; which I spent the last few years trying to fight back for. It clicked. Something clicked.

With thiught and dragging my head through the gravel, I became something of the result of who i was. Dont we all? Who can be truly the the same as they were 3 years ago?

So from the FORGE, I become FORGED.

I'd love nothing more than to grasp my soul once more, bear it, open it, and share it with everyone I've ever seen move with me - those bodies and minds that inspired me. I saw your sweat. I saw your eyes close. I saw your hands in the air. Not for me... For the collective fu***ng hedonistic, reality defying joy.
