🎄S. ANSELM’S SCHOOL INVITES FAMILIES TO ATTEND FESTIVE CHRISTMAS TASTER OPEN DAY🎄
S. Anselm's School in Bakewell is hosting a Christmas Taster Open Day on Friday 5th December, inviting families to experience the warmth, joy and community spirit that the school is known for.
Situated in the heart of Bakewell, S. Anselm’s is the only co-educational prep school in Derbyshire, widely recognised for its nurturing ethos, commitment to whole-child development and character-building education.
As part of a recent restructure programme, the S. Anselm’s for Everyone, Forever initiative was launched to support local families through means-tested bursaries and a refreshed range of scholarships.
S. Anselm’s Headteacher Mr Peter Cook commented: “We believe exceptional education should be open and accessible. S. Anselm’s has always been a place where children are known, valued and encouraged to flourish. Our S. Anselm’s for Everyone, Forever Programme ensures more families can benefit from that experience, capturing the heart of who we are.”
S. Anselm’s is welcoming prospective families to a festive and family-friendly Christmas Taster Open Day, designed to showcase the school’s joyful approach to learning, its supportive culture and its strong sense of community.
Visitors can expect:

🎄Gingerbread making and carols by the Christmas tree

The event aims to give parents an authentic and relaxed insight into life at S. Anselm’s - particularly those exploring independent education for the first time.
