5 year old Fred was having trouble with a Cuestars Bronze Level 5 routine, where he needed to pot the black and cannon the red.

When you find out you need glasses VS When you're told you look like Dennis Taylor 😂

It's been a whole year since Fred found out he needed glasses and he was definitely not impressed! But the amazing staff at Greenfield Eyecare Ltd - knowing Fred is a big snooker fan - told him that he looked like Dennis Taylor.

He flipped them upside down and that was that! He loves his glasses and has worn them every single day ever since.

Thank goodness he'd grown up watching Dennis on Big Break! 😂🤓

A milestone we’ll never forget! 🥹🤩

If you didn't know, back in August, Fred officially passed Cuestars Bronze Level 4 at just 5 years old - becoming the youngest player ever to do it!

Fred (5) proving that persistence pays off!

Our first look at Cuestars Bronze Level 5 was this routine...but we had a problem. None of us knew how to do it. This was all on Fred to work it out by himself.

He experimented with side, screw back and changing the position of the cue ball...and eventually he made the pot! 🎉

So proud of his determination to make this shot, despite his very unhelpful parents!

On that note...any tips are appreciated! 😂

Today he amazed us even more by achieving a new high break of 25! 🎉🤯

What an amazing time we had at the Woodhouse Cues family fun day a couple of weeks ago. Fred had the chance to play a few frames of pool with Jordan “Welsh Wizard” Shepherd and Rikki Jones as well as a snooker challenge with The Snooker School 🤩
