A great trip to Barnsley College yesterday morning to talk all things enterprise and how Blink Vivid and the college can work together in the future.
We had chance to look around the space and all the incredible equipment on hand for the students there and were particularly impressed by the eSports classrooms and the immersive experience presentation space.

SYNOPSIS:
In an alternative dystopian universe overrun by global tech company MicroTech. A shopping channel host attempts to sell goods from the giant company all whilst wrestling with his addiction to the companies addictive drink substance - Microtonic!
Exciting times as we seek for a part-time, creative and technically skilled Video Editor & Content Creator to join our team.
As a Video Editor & Content creator at Blink Vivid, your primary role will be that of our in-house editor at our office based in the centre of Sheffield. You will work closely with our two company directors to produce content for multiple client deadlines on a consistent basis. A competent understanding of basic video editing is essential. Separately to video editing there will be opportunity for working in other areas of video and film production with the opportunity to film and edit behind the scenes content for company socials as well as attending shoots in supportive roles for our larger productions.
Your role will be to edit a variety of clients’ videos as well as internal marketing material.
The ideal candidate would be
- Based within the Sheffield City Region
- Have their own creative flair that they can bring to our wide variety of projects.
- Have experience within a similar role
- Have a passion for working on a mixture of brand films, music videos, live sessions, short form documentaries and more!

A great excuse to get creative with handheld camera work, camcorder footage, hyper-lapses and hand-painted textural animation in the edit to create something that pops!

Our most recent shoot on Tuesday had us heading down over to Pricecheck to capture a brand new company video for the multi-award-winning international wholesaler and distributor of branded FMCG goods.
Capturing interview content as the skeleton for the piece alongside content at both sites in Rotherham and Manvers.
Whilst we rested on our trusty URSA G2 mini for the bulk of the footage we also utilised gimbal and drone footage to get some exciting motions in the edit from the office space and the huge warehouse!
