My Experience
In addition to my six years of primary school classroom experience, working with children in KS1 and KS2, I began private music teaching whilst still at school and have worked as a private music teacher ever since. I now have more than fifteen years private music teaching experience, have taught and entered students for all ABRSM grades with excellent results, and have experience teaching students of all ages including adult learners. I now run my own music school with over 50 private students, conduct two choirs (Lodge Moor Children’s Choir and St. Joseph's School Choir) and work as a music teacher in local primary schools. Additionally, I worked for many years as the vocal tutor at Stagecoach Sheffield. My Service and Fee
My students attend 30 minute individual lessons costing £16 a lesson, although I am happy to provide 60 minute lessons upon request. I teach beginner to advanced level including adult learners. Students work towards ABRSM grades 1-8 or learn just for fun! Students at AMH Music are given lots of additional opportunities to perform solos and in ensembles at the bi-anual AMH Music concerts. These are friendly, sociable events that allow students to develop confidence, share their achievements and progress with others and make new friends!
