Richard Hawley will play two very special hometown shows Sheffield City Hall on 17 and 18 December.

Expect the unexpected as Richard delves deep into his extensive back catalogue, bringing
songs you may not have heard for many years - and perhaps some that have never been
played live before. Alongside these rarities will be a selection of firm fan favourites, with
the possibility of some brand-new songs making their debut. This will be a very different
experience from Richard’s hugely successful Coles Corner tour in 2025, which celebrated
the album’s 20th anniversary.

One of Britain’s most distinctive voices and celebrated songwriters, Richard’s love of
Sheffield runs through everything he does. His hometown has always been central to his
writing, so returning to Sheffield City Hall is naturally high on his list of shows to play.

Alongside his acclaimed solo career, Richard’s name is synonymous with Pulp, with whom
he has been a long-standing collaborator. Over the years he has also played and written
with an extraordinary range of artists, including Arctic Monkeys, Paul Weller, Nancy
Sinatra, Elbow, Tom Jones, Texas and many more. His remarkable career has established
him as a truly unique presence in British music. He has also received Olivier Awards for
the acclaimed West End musical Standing at the Sky’s Edge.

These special Sheffield shows will also celebrate the release of Richard’s new live
album, Live at Sheffield City Hall 2025. The album features the complete Coles
Corner 20th-anniversary concert from last Christmas, alongside highlights from the
remaining two sold-out shows at the venue. It will also include a collection of fantastic
behind-the-scenes photographs, capturing those memorable nights in Richard’s
Hometown.

Two nights, one very special venue, and a setlist that could take you anywhere in Richard
Hawley’s remarkable career.
