Final copy of the lathe-cut album by Isis Moray is available in our Bandcamp shop. (Includes bonus track & 3 remixes supplied digitally with the download code).

Full album released on Saturday 29th August - and if you come along to the launch event to be held in Sheffield on that evening, you'll hear some of the tracks from the album being played live. Doors open at 7pm at Mary Street Live (upstairs room)

Four bands for £7 plus b/fee ... and with the erm, bonus of Do It Thissen DJs playing vinyl only selections between the acts, and to finish the night off.

Don't you just love ?

Today, we're halfway between BCF's: August's saw the release of DIT-079 Isis Moray 10" lathe-cut album (edition of 35)... which is currently 94% sold out on pre-order- i.e. just 2 copies remaining! (Link in comments to the shop, if you're keen to grab one right now)

There's a launch event to support the release - to be held at Mary St Live in Sheffield on Saturday 29th August (link for tickets in comments, also)

So, for September's BandCamp Friday (Friday 4th September), the big news is there'll be a pre-order for DIT-082 ***Pressed Vinyl*** LP from DIMITRI (whose work you will know from previous DIT releases, and his own self-released cassette tapes)

The LP is entitled "Exploring the Relationships Between Buildings and the People That Use Them" ... which I guess is pretty self-explanatory.

Ticket sales are coming along nicely: and thank you to all those who have already bought tickets.

In my experience of local gigs at small venues, it's the Sheffield way to either book tickets at the very last minute or just rock up at the door on the night. Let's see if we can break this habit, and sell this one out in advance 😁

Midweek Update:

Thank you to all friends of the label who have pre-ordered the Isis Moray 10" lathe-cut album. There was a fantastic take-up on Bandcamp Friday, and in the intervening days, more copies have found new homes - leaving just 2 copies of the red edition remaining in our Bandcamp shop. If you were thinking about buying a copy, please don't leave it too late - one these two have gone, that's it! Link to shop in comments below

Also, the tickets for the launch event of Saturday 29th August are selling well (over a third have been sold), so once more - if you were thinking of attending, please don't leave it too late - tickets are £7 each plus 50p booking fee .. and the bill comprises four bands! Finally, fans of DIMITRI will be pleased to hear that I'll be releasing a PRESSED VINYL LP by the man himself in October - pre-orders will be taken next Bandcamp Friday (4th September). It's an edition of 111 and there'll be more news on this release in the forthcoming weeks.

Quick update: firstly, thank you to all who jumped in to the Bandcamp shop yesterday and made a purchase!

Secondly, all of the white edition of the Isis Moray album are spoken for, and only 5 of the red edition remain in the Bandcamp shop. So if you've been thinking about acquiring a copy, please do it now! Once they're gone, they're gone!

Thirdly, and this may have slipped under the radar, amongst the myriad other global Bandcamp Friday offerings - Sheffield's very own (and label alumnus), DIMITRI has released a new track to streaming services - the picture is a screenshot of his social media announcement.

Read it to the end, and you'll realise that there'll be an important announcement here at the label before too long😉

With it being Bandcamp-Friday-Eve, I'm sitting here slaving away over a hot keyboard making sure that the pages for tomorrow's pre-orders for Isis Moray lathe-cut 10" album are ready to go.

Shop will be stocked at 0800 hours, replenished at 2000 hours (UK time).

There's a White version (edition of 10), and a Red version (edition of 25). £20 plus P&P
