We went to see Powerhouse last night for their Gothic Ceilidh at Walkley Social Club and it was honestly incredible. 🎻⚡️

Their sound is such a wild mix – traditional folk tunes layered with rock riffs and little flashes of pop culture woven in. One minute you’re in a classic ceilidh spin, the next you’re shouting along to a guitar break you know from somewhere and can’t quite place, and it just works.

The whole night was chaotic in the best way. Full room, full energy, full joy. Would 100% recommend.

⚔️✨ Team Femetalism at Power Metal Quest Fest 2025! ✨⚔️

Earlier this month, we headed to our first ever Quest Fest and we absolutely LOVED it! 🤘 From epic riffs to fantasy vibes, it was a beautiful mix of community and music at KK's Steel Mill 🎸🔥

for truly unforgettable sets. 💥 The energy in the room was unreal!

Between the music, the retro gaming zone (yes, we got way too competitive at Guitar Hero), and the stalls packed with awesome merch and fantasy goodies, there was never a dull moment.

Huge thanks to KK’s Steel Mill too - arranging accessible seating was super easy, and the facilities were fantastic. 🙌 Accessibility done right makes all the difference, and we really appreciated it. 💜

⚡🔥 Festival – what a day! 🔥⚡

Saturday 20th September was absolutely packed with incredible bands and non-stop music from start to finish. The venue, the sound, the atmosphere – all spot on – and there was even some gorgeous merch to take home. 🖤🤘

The line-up did not disappoint: Tellers Scribe Speaking With Spirits Firmament UK Echoes of Obsidian Jack-knife Soul Shredder 40,000 Leagues ThunarWülf and Earthbound.

Craig had his camera with him and grabbed a few snaps. As always, we’re there first and foremost to enjoy and support the bands, so photos are secondary – but I think his shots came out absolutely phenomenal! 📸🔥

Huge shoutout to everyone who played, organised, and showed up to make Powerlines Festival such a success. I really hope this is the first of many Powerlines Festival!! 🖤🤘 Artful Witch Promotions

Femetalism might not be back up and running at full capacity just yet – for the same reasons we took a long hiatus – but we’re still here supporting the local metal scene as much as possible, and genuinely working on finding a way to get Femetalism back to something like its former glory.
