28% less people use instagram than last year, more and more people are quitting socials because they don't see the point anymore in posting when all they are is Ads and bots, I agree, there is a fix, stop caring about algorithms and what people tell you is a trend, who cares? we aren't sheep.

If there's one thing I could do a masters on, it's 90s hip hop and with over 1000 records from the era this idea and pitch was something that i loved doing.

I think this needs to be said, in a world where creativity is supposed to be boundless, all i see is the same things every day.

And its because social platforms don’t care about your creativity, they care about ad revenue.

They push you into the same recycled formats: trending sounds, editing templates, short clips, quick hooks and endless swipes. Why? because peoples jobs depend on it.

Your creations are not art to them, you are packaging for their shareholders, you’re a cog in the machine running on a formula to generate time spent on the platform which = ad revenue

Rebel, do what you want, starve the algorithm until it changes back and feel sorry for people who spend their lives chasing virality.

Ironically, these influencer 'creators' who follow every last step they are told by platforms are the least creative of us all.
