The next few weeks are likely to be difficult for us all. Thank you to everyone in North East Derbyshire who has been in touch with questions, issues and offers of support - we are trying to come back to everyone as quickly as we can.
As your MP, Iโm here to help throughout this time. To do that, like so many others, Iโm changing how I, and the office, work to slow and stop the spread of the virus in our community.
Firstly, Iโve postponed all of my visits and meetings for the coming weeks to minimise the risk of the disease spreading. We will try to do these by phone where we can and will reschedule once it is safe to do so.
Secondly, we know how important it is for some residents to attend our surgery to discuss issues. As a result, we are making more slots available and, for now, all surgeries will be done by phone. Please phone 439222 if you would like a slot.
Our office will continue to work throughout and be available to you. On a temporary basis, we will not be undertaking face-to-face meetings or walk-ins but we remain available on the phone (439222) or via email ([email protected]) throughout.
If you have any questions, issues or concerns, please get in touch at any time. We are not doctors, and not every question has a complete answer at the current time, but we want to help and support you if you need anything. And, together, we will get through this.
