Fresh batch of ''hey this exists and we have a service to provide'' posts. Community centred drum practice space, quality gear and private. Ideal for anyone who can't have a kit of their own and want to practice. The studio is located on S9 3XG, attercliffe.

FREE to use for 1 hour during studio open hours, booked ad hoc and subject to availability. Now testing out flexible booking.

MEMBERSHIPS:

Come and go outside of studio hours with reserved time each week. Members also have access to video recording equipment.

£20/Month Members: 2 hour slot per week, free lesson, either fixed or booked to suit around your schedule.

£30/month Members: 3 hour slot per week, or 2 x 2 hour slots per week, free lesson, as above.

If you want to try it out just drop me a line here or at [email protected]. There's no website or booking system as of yet because it's just a small, non profit venture, so if you're interested in using it, it's through messenger or email.

Hello everyone. We have a few spaces left for memberships (which works out at around £4/Session or just £2/hour!) but as always, this service is free to use for an hour during studio open hours! As it's summer these times have changed a little so feel free to get in touch about times and whatever might work for you if you want to get some drum practice in!

On top of there being a big fan (newly repaired so it's back to full health) in the space to keep you cool while you drum, there's access to an audio interface, mics and camera gear on request if you wanted to do any filming. Just let us know!

A quick note on how the booking calendar in the bio works!

If you want to book a free slot for an hour, just take a look at the GREEN areas for when the studio is open. Sometimes these will change, and it will be updated regularly if any changes happen. Pick a time that isn't marked RED and let us know, and we'll add your practice spot on for you!

We've had some great drummers come in and can hear the improvement every time. If you're looking for somewhere to practice your craft, why not somewhere free?

Also, if you're into it, we're in the same place as St Mars of the Desert Brewery, whose taproom is open fridays and saturdays 2-8pm, and you are welcome to grab yourself a locally brewed lager and have some fun behind the kit!

There are a few spaces available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for permanent bookings. Ideal if you want a consistent practice with a kit and don't have the space for one!

Or you can book ad hoc sessions for £6 for the first hour and £1 extra for any additional hours, subject to availability.

Looking to learn a new instrument as a new years resolution? Planning on hitting the post christmas sales for a drum kit but unsure about the commitment?

Why not try before you buy?! Until January 16th, if you buy 1 session in the throne room, you get another for free! If you buy 2 or more sessions, you get a free 30 minute drum lesson AND a free session. If you're already a throne room customer, the same applies for you!
