Hello everyone. We have a few spaces left for memberships (which works out at around £4/Session or just £2/hour!) but as always, this service is free to use for an hour during studio open hours! As it's summer these times have changed a little so feel free to get in touch about times and whatever might work for you if you want to get some drum practice in!

On top of there being a big fan (newly repaired so it's back to full health) in the space to keep you cool while you drum, there's access to an audio interface, mics and camera gear on request if you wanted to do any filming. Just let us know!

A quick note on how the booking calendar in the bio works!

If you want to book a free slot for an hour, just take a look at the GREEN areas for when the studio is open. Sometimes these will change, and it will be updated regularly if any changes happen. Pick a time that isn't marked RED and let us know, and we'll add your practice spot on for you!

We've had some great drummers come in and can hear the improvement every time. If you're looking for somewhere to practice your craft, why not somewhere free?

Also, if you're into it, we're in the same place as St Mars of the Desert Brewery, whose taproom is open fridays and saturdays 2-8pm, and you are welcome to grab yourself a locally brewed lager and have some fun behind the kit!

There are a few spaces available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for permanent bookings. Ideal if you want a consistent practice with a kit and don't have the space for one!

Or you can book ad hoc sessions for £6 for the first hour and £1 extra for any additional hours, subject to availability.

IMPORTANT SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT:

In order to make the Throne Room more accessible for people, we've decided to do two things:

1. If you are a student of Tom Warner Drummer/Tutor taking weekly or fortnightly lessons, you can use the throne room for free up to an hour once a week, during any times I'm in teaching. This can be arranged with me privately to coordinate timings with private hirers booked slots.
2. If you are already hiring The Throne Room - Drum Practice Spaces privately, you get a free 30 minute lesson every month to help work on things you feel you might want to improve on, ask questions you might have crop up and learn new things you didn't have before.

Don't forget, if you're a private hiree of the throne room, you get a guaranteed slot of 1+hours every week.

Drumming is great for you. Your body, brain and mind all benefit from drumming. Whether you're learning new things, sharpening your tools or blowing off steam, as long as you're playing and enjoying it, that's all that matters to us. Keep in touch for anything you might need. We are gearing more towards providing more drumming services for Throne Room members and my own students, so keep your eyes peeled for new things. If you read all of this, thank you!

The cost of buying and maintaining a drum kit can be daunting in this day and age of economic crisis. Decent enough new, or even used kits can cost hundreds. Then there's hardware, cymbals, sticks, and new heads for the initial set up which can cost hundreds more. Then there's the debate of ''can I play an acoustic at home, or do I need an E Kit, or do I rent a space to practice in with an acoustic?'' Which, no matter what you choose, is even more, or a different value cost. Then there's replacing breakages, which costs even more each year.

Let us worry about that.

For the same amount it would cost you to buy everything that you need to practice at home and continue replacing your gear, you could have been practicing in the Throne Room for years and saving a bit on the side to eventually get your own stuff. We supply absolutely everything, so you don't need to worry about gear breaking, location, or noise.

Book in a trial and see if it suits you!
