sadly what’s not very fun most of the time is being an animal at the hands of humanity😭💔🐾🌍

I’ve been reading The Sexual Politics of Meat by Carol J Adams and it’s so interesting… one point that stood out to me is that most people only ever really interact with animals when they’re on their plate. that’s the main and principal time most people ‘interact with’ non human animals. the objectification is so crazy when you deep it.

anyways the point is, it’s not always 100% easy or accessible for everybody but veganism IS !! AND CAN BE !! a source of joy and it doesn’t stop the fun and variety of living your life. but it means the world to them, you know…

And here’s the twist… this time it’s not Tofoo tofu but it’s Tofoo tempeh!! Tempeh is the cousin of tofu - only chunkier, higher in protein, and with a nuttier/stronger flavour. Have you tried it yet?

The absolute GENIUS of this collab for Bundobust’s ‘Ultimate Refreshment’ summer specials menu is that the tempeh has a verrrrry familiar and iconic seasoning/coating… ever tried the okra fries???? That salty peppery kala namak flavour is the one and it’s actually perfection for tempeh!!!!!!! And the zingyyy gingery salad it sits on top of sure does pack a punch 🤩🫚🌶️

You have until July 19th to try this specials menu featuring tempeh and once again I say THANK YOU to restaurants serving GOOD vegan options and not turning their back on the plant based population like so many have *side eye* *you know who you are*

You can’t do massive weekly shops when you live alone cause everything just goes off in fridge !! So I do me weekly recipe boxes (a luxury really but works so well for me) and then buy a few bits like this every now and then !!

Tofoo
Salad
Stir fry meal deal
Hummus
Pitta
Vgn cheese

Then combine with stuff from cupboards or freezer etc 🥰 I do eat out more than my fair share as well tho tehe x
