Aiming to create a community of men around the allotment. 

We will have access to an outdoor covered space to run meetings from with an amazing view!

Sharing experience of extreme self isolation, mental health and tips of coping with times of uncertainty.

As England went into lockdown, for 3 days I went into a 2mx3m hut in the countryside, not eating, only drinking water and complete self-isolating with no tech / any information intake. Hear some of my experience....

3 tips I shared was:
- Acceptance
- Compassion & self-care
- Setting healthy Boundaries

Do you give yourself permission to play?
As we get older, there is pressure to be ‘grown up’. While I agree that is important but be careful not to loose that sense of wonder and awe which is closely linked to creativity.
When you give yourself permission to ‘play’, you’ll find novel and interesting way to view the world 🌎 and solve challenges.

I M P A C T
Inspirational executive breakfast meeting in London by wealth masters bringing Honourable Stephen Asamoah Boteng. Director General of SIGA, Ghana.
It was fascinating hearing how entrepreneurship & business when it’s done with clarity and accountability can help grow a nation.
He shared great examples of leaders letting go of their ego, relinquish their power and be accountable for their actions. He also shared how a system / framework can be set up that transcends political power play & ultimately contribute for the greater good of the people of Ghana.
This made me ponder the question, am I thinking big enough? There are other people like him in the world, their work impacts a whole nation and legacy for the future generations.
Thank you Benjamin for inviting me, such an impactful network you have created. I recommend if you are an investor / business owner looking to expand to Africa, Ben is the expert and have the connections to maximise it.

Wednesday's MEN UP NORTH group I lead on the conversations around money and our relationship to it.

Powerful session on the theme of money 💵 and our relationship to it.

It was an enlightening conversation to hear different perspectives, experiences and the ways different men manage their money.

Thank you Sam for bringing his expert perspectives on finance.

Themes that came up were around shame, impact of austerity, poverty, lack of education around money, thriving vs surviving & utilising technology to help us manage it better.

🤔Explore where does these feelings come from?
🤔Give it some air time in your mind with curiosity and compassion.
You never know what gold you’ll find on the other side.
If you find it hard, seek support from a friend ( who can be objective ) or a coach that can help you keep accountable in doing the things you really want to do.
Life is precious, don’t spend it on dwelling on things you didn’t do & blame it on your own stories / other people that held you back.
