There’s never been a better time to get out on your bike and in Sheffield we’re really spoiled by having stunning scenery right on our doorstep. But whilst it’s great to marvel at all this fantastic countryside, it is not always accessible to those bikers who like to go off-road and do so safely.

Chatsworth Country Fair returns with an action-packed lineup and exciting guest stars

Chatsworth Country Fair returns Friday 29 - Sunday 31 August, with a thrilling programme of performances and activities attracting tens of thousands of visitors from around the country. One of England’s most spectacular annual outdoor events, it won the gold award in the brand new ‘Festival or Event of the Year’ category at the 2025 Peak District, Derbyshire & Derby Tourism Awards.

2025 proves the hottest year yet as Sheffield Girls' GDST celebrates sensational A Level results ✨

Sheffield Girls’ GDST today celebrates the hard work, determination and positivity of its Year 13 pupils as they receive their A Level results. This year, astonishingly, over a third of all grades awarded were at A* with 88% of grades at A* - B an achievement that reflects the Sixth Formers’ intellectual curiosity, academic strength and, above all, their dedication to learning. 37 students (49% of the cohort) achieved at least one A* grade with 13 girls taking home 3 or more A*s. This year’s results further demonstrate the excellence and academic integrity for which the school is renowned.
