White American Buttercream WRITTEN Recipe

Perfect for Piping – I use this in all of the `Reels` that you see on my page as well as all of my Cake Decorating Tutorials
***Please note E171 is no longer permitted for consumption in the EU***
This is perfect for Piping your cupcakes and cakes as well as filling and crumb coating, I have found the perfect butter but depending on where you are located you may need to find a different brand with the same sort of texture.
You will need
200g Lurpack Butter
300g Icing Sugar
1tsp Vanilla Extract
1tbsp Hot Water
A small amount of the colouring E171 (Titanium Dioxide) Powder form or liquid
Method
Beat the butter on high until light and fluffy, lurpack is one of the best for piping in my personal opinion and it also tends to be whiter than some other butters
Add 300g of Icing Sugar (powdered Sugar) along with 1tsp of Vanilla Extract and 1Tbsp of hot water mixed with a small amount of E171 powder alternatively you can use the other versions that come as a liquid but I would still recommend the hot water as it helps the buttercream have the perfect consistency to pipe.
Beat on high until the mixture is completely combined, It is ready to use but you can store in a fridge , I like to store in an air tight container.
When you want to use it again, simply allow it to reach room temperature first and beat on high until light and creamy.
This is now ready to pipe your beautiful cupcakes.
