🌸We’re turning 1 this month!🌸

We might not be out of nappies yet, but it’s been amazing to see how quickly a community has grown around the studios — whether that’s through our work with , various music projects with young people, events in our yard, or our much-loved studio regulars!

To celebrate, we’re throwing a full day and night of festivities:

First stop: Open House @ Spring Tank Studios
 • Live Jazz from  • Cinema Room by  • Open decks in our DJ room – bring your own tunes! • Food by  • Spritz, cocktails + more

Second stop: then we’ll be moving en masse to our favs for a night of dancing until the early hours (more info on that coming soon).

Ever spent hours on a track, felt buzzing about it — then listened back the next day and it sounds flat and lifeless?

It’s a feeling most producers and musicians have experienced — and often, it comes down to the speakers and the room you’re working in.

In our Studio Two, our Adam Audio A8H monitors are fully calibrated to the room using Sonarworks software and a SoundID reference mic, working in harmony with our custom acoustic treatment to give you clarity, depth, and accuracy.

Best feeling in the world? Dropping your favourite tune on vinyl.
 Worst? Same tune… but the decks are busted, the needle’s wrecked, and the feedback’s howling.

At too many clubs and studios, turntables are an afterthought. Not here. We love playing records — that’s why our Technics 1210s are regularly serviced, properly earthed and isolated, and run through speakers that bring out the full HiFi warmth vinyl is known for.

No needles of your own but still want to mix? No problem — just add needles when making your booking. Ours are fully calibrated to Studio One’s setup and ready to go.

This Saturday we’re hosting our very first “Jazz Camp for Girls” in partnership with 🎷

These camps are designed as safe, welcoming spaces for girls aged 8–15 to explore improvisation in a fun and supportive environment, led by experienced jazz musicians and tutors.

We still have a couple of spaces left — so please share this with any parents, guardians, or carers who might know a young person interested in giving it a go!

It’s completely free to attend (including a free lunch!) — but spaces are limited, so signing up via the link in our bio is essential to secure a spot. 🎺
