National Independent Bookshop Week is here, and we’re kicking things off with one that puts cook books at the heart, The Kitchen Table in Dorset. 📚✨

We’ve been working with Sarah and the team since they opened their doors in 2023, and it’s been a joy to watch them grow. Over the years, our authors have joined them for all sorts of events, from baby weaning workshops with Zenia | Baby Development and Indian cookery classes to sessions exploring the world of allergy friendly baking.

The team were recently shortlisted for Independent Bookshop of the Year in South West England, and they’re now taking their love of books on the road with Vanny Craddock, a mobile bookshop bringing stories to festivals and events across the region.

We’re proud to work alongside such a creative, welcoming and community focused bookshop, and we can’t wait to see what they do next. ❤️📖

🍅 It’s British Tomato Fortnight! 🍅

From vibrant salads and slow cooked sauces to curries, stews and summer sharing dishes, tomatoes are one of the hardest-working ingredients in our kitchens.

This fortnight celebrates British-grown tomatoes and the growers who produce them. Buying local helps support UK farmers, reduces food miles and means you’re often enjoying tomatoes at their seasonal best.

We’re marking the occasion by revisiting some of our favourite tomato-filled recipes from the Meze Publishing collection. Whether you’re cooking for family, friends or simply yourself, there’s something special about letting a great ingredient do the talking.

Lovely little trip to York this weekend and had to have a potter around 📚📙📘

So fantastic to see The North Yorkshire Cook Book, the first book I ever created when I started at Meze in 2019!
and books are always a colourful staple in any bookshop.
Then our latest book graced the shelves as well.
Even though I’ve done this job for 7 years now - seeing our books on shelves is always lovely ❤️🎉

It’s another May Bank Holiday (YAY!) and that calls for ice cream! .desserts have the best selection with the most amazing flavours, so it you are local why not pop in.
Or if you are too busy planning a BBQ & a water balloon fight, you could get their book and have a go at home! There are so many flavours you can make, even one for your dog.

This week is World Art Day. In cookbooks, design, photography and illustration are just as important as the recipes themselves. We all eat with our eyes, and great visuals are what bring a book to life.

Our latest release, , celebrates Jad Youssef’s authentic recipes inspired by his family’s kitchen in Beirut and his restaurant in Surrey. The design and photography capture the vibrancy of the dishes beautifully. Huge credit to the brilliant team .

La Maisam by .maisam is carefully structured to teach essential skills in a relaxed, approachable way. From mastering her viral no knead to beautifully uncomplicated cakes and bakes, the design by and photography by make every page inviting and clear.
