☀️🚌 Getting ready for their Summer Holiday, Sheffield Theatres have released cast photos on a vintage Sheffield bus ahead of the opening of the musical.

The cast enjoyed an experience on board an original Leyland Titan PD3 double decker, which served communities in Sheffield from 1959-1974, kindly provided by South Yorkshire Preservation Group CIC.

The feel-good musical of the year follows Don and his friends on the ultimate European road trip, based on the iconic 1960s film. A co-production with Blackpool Grand Theatre, the show is directed by Sheffield Theatres Artistic Director, Elizabeth Newman and Ben Occhipinti.

Summer Holiday opens at the Crucible, Sheffield from Saturday 20 June and runs until Saturday 18 July. The production then transfers to Blackpool Grand Theatre from Wednesday 29 July - Saturday 8 August.
