The last event being held while Gaia is in Sherborne Abbey is a free talk by Steve Plant from the UK Space Agency.

Steve will talk about the work of the agency, how satellites observe what is happening on the Earth and more.

6.30pm for 7pm start.

The next Highways Surgery will take place at The Manor House on Newland between 10am and 12pm on Wednesday 10th September.

This is an opportunity to speak to a member of the Dorset Council Highways Team about any highways issues you have in the town or surrounding area.

Creation Messy Church is this Saturday, 1pm in the Lady Chapel at the back of the Abbey. Free of charge, you are welcome to drop in and enjoy some activities exploring caring for the planet and loving God's creation. Combine with a visit to Gaia! Please bring an adult.

If your kids aren't back at school yet and you're looking for something to do with them this week, why not go along to Sherborne Abbey to see Gaia and while you're there pop into the Bow Chapel for some children's games and activities - aimed at children 8-14 yrs.
There is story reading time for 5-7 year olds between 3 and 4pm each day.

With the countdown on for Gaia to be installed in Sherborne Abbey for all to see, please see the below times the abbey will be open for you to freely walk in and view it🌏

Gaia opens this Friday! Please see the poster for day to day opening times which vary slightly depending on evening events and services in the Abbey. Entry is free but donations welcome.
