Guzzly and I had a really successful day today at Sherborne Book fair!! The children loved reading The Guzzle Gump and they also had a quick listen to a preview of the audio book 📚 They also tried to hunt out the little mouse in the illustrations of Presents for a Princess 👸

Guzzly is having fun today whipping up some egg free pancakes for William 🥞🥚🥞

Poppy, who is the main character in our Guzzle Gump book, and who is Guzzly’s bestie, is loving this new recipe and wants to share it ❤️🥞❤️

8oz milk
150g self raising flour
75g caster sugar
100g natural yoghurt
Level teaspoon of baking powder

Pop all of the ingredients into a large measuring jug and whisk away!!

Get messy and wipe a k**b of butter around a frying pan, then pour in enough mixture to make a pancake and warm on a low heat.

Leave for about 8 minutes, depending upon the size of the pancake (obviously the larger and the thicker, the longer it should be left) before flipping it over!

Then fill the pancake with whatever you want! Poppy wanted sweet, and so we layered the pancake with some home made jam (recipe of the homemade jam to follow ❤️❤️) William wanted savoury and so we filled with cheese, ham and sausages ❤️❤️ and some BBQ sauce.

Enjoyed by all 👏🌞👍👏###x delicious 😋 ###x

Our cuddly little Guzzle Gump doesn’t like it when children don’t eat up their food 🥘😳🥘 ..... however, as he suffers from numerous allergies himself (read the story to find out more 👍) he is very sympathetic and most worried about any child who has allergies 😧 and certainly wouldn’t gobble them up for not eating their food 😘😂😘

Already on our website is a fabulous egg-free banana cake recipe and now in preparation for Pancake day next week, Guzzly is busy perfecting his egg-free pancake mixture 🥚 🍳 🥞

I’m sure when he’s tried and tested his pancakes a number of times (any excuse to eat lots of pancakes 🤫!!) he’ll share his recipe with you 😘😘
