Hey I went down for the Cromer New Year's Day Fireworks at the Cromer Pier this evening and ended up watching from a little further back than usual. The tide was not ideal!!!

Still, it was a great display by Titanium Fireworks Ltd and Cromer Town Council It was one of those moments that reminds you it doesn’t always need to be front-row to be meaningful. Sometimes the wider view tells the better story.

A lovely way to begin the year.

Last week I was invited to film a short piece about Soul Space… and of course I couldn’t resist grabbing a few photos while I was there.

Every year, the churches in Sheringham come together to create Soul Space at Sheringham High School. They transform the drama studio into a series of interactive stations where students can pause, reflect, say sorry, express gratitude, or simply take a breath in the middle of a busy school week.

This year also included a chance to sign a petition tackling homelessness, which will be handed to our local MP, Stephen Aquarone.

Across the week, every year group passes through, giving hundreds of students the space to explore faith in a gentle, thoughtful way. Always a privilege to document something meaningful happening right here in our town.

Took Joey (8) into Norwich for his first foray into street photography and honestly, it was so much fun watching the city through his eyes.

These are his shots, all taken on the Insta360 Ace Pro 2. He had a great time spotting little details, reflections, and moments most of us would probably walk straight past.

There’s something special about handing a camera to a kid! they remind you how much creativity is really about curiosity.

Took Joey into Norwich for a bit of half-term street photography. 🎞️
We met this guy playing his accordion, grabbed a quick portrait, printed it on the spot — and his reaction made the whole day.

It’s moments like this that remind me why I love photography…
sometimes it’s not about the perfect shot, it’s about connection.

What an incredible city!
Brighton is overflowing with creativity and character, from the colourful street art tucked away in The Lanes to the energy of the seafront and the haunting beauty of the old pier.

I spent some time exploring at the weekend, camera in hand, capturing little moments of life and art that make Brighton feel so unique.

If you ever need a dose of inspiration, this city has it in spades.
