Yesterday (Wednesday 18th February 2026), Ryan Sleights, Founder of RSTV Networks, was invited to attend the Parent/Carer Forum Post-16 Event at Blackwell Grange Hotel in Darlington.
The forum brought together education providers, parents and carers to explore progression opportunities for young people beyond Year 11. During the event, Ryan proudly represented and promoted Darlington Learning & Skills, sharing his own journey since joining the organisation in May 2025.
Since starting with Learning & Skills, Ryan has developed key professional and academic skills, strengthening his communication, confidence and numeracy in a supportive, workplace-focused environment. He has successfully achieved a Level 2 Functional Skills qualification in English and has recently sat his Level 2 Functional Skills Maths examination, demonstrating his commitment to continued development.
Ryan also highlighted what makes Learning & Skills stand out:
• Small class sizes with personalised support
• Flexible learning tailored to individual needs
• Support with work experience placements
• Clear progression routes into employment or further education
The event provided an engaging and collaborative setting, with meaningful discussions around post-16 education pathways and future career opportunities.
RSTV Networks is proud to support initiatives that empower individuals through education, skills development and real-world experience.
