This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Jack Pitcher and Alaric Storer to Shinfield Studios! 🎬

In an extraordinary feat of endurance, Jack ran the length of Australia last November—from Perth to Sydney—completing an incredible 95 marathons in just 61 days. 🏃‍♂️
Alongside him, Alaric travelled across the continent, documenting the adventure.

This incredible challenge was undertaken in support of two deeply meaningful causes: SSAFA – the Armed Forces charity – and ARC Wokingham Counselling. For Jack, SSAFA holds a special place in his heart, providing vital support to serving personnel, veterans, and their families when they need it most. Equally important was raising funds for ARC Wokingham, a local counselling service dedicated to improving mental health and emotional well-being in the community.

We were proud to sponsor Jack on this inspiring mission and thrilled to have him visit the studios to share his story.

"99 to Beat", ITV's brand new game show hosted by Adam and Ryan Thomas airs on ITV1 and ITVX tomorrow evening - Saturday 22 March. We are proud to have hosted this production at Shinfield Studios for Initial TV and Banijay Entertainment.

On Saturday we attended the British Film Designers Guild Awards, where we sponsored the ‘Best Production Design Motion Picture Fantasy’ category 🏆

Congrats to all the nominees - including Shinfield shot ‘Ghost Busters: Frozen Empire’. In particular, congratulations to ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ and ‘Dune Part 2’ who made it to the final stage of the award and a huge congrats to ‘Wicked’ for winning 🧙‍♀️

🎥📣 News from the Shinfield Studios team. We’re incredibly proud to announce that Beth Gallagher has joined us as Director of Sales, UK and Europe. Beth was most recently at Amazon MGM Studios where she was integral in finding production space for Amazon’s projects and securing their long term homes at Shepperton South and Bray Studios.

This exciting news follows the recent promotion of Dean Horne to Vice President of Global Studio Operations at Shadowbox Studios (including Shinfield Studios), Charlene St Aubyn, to Financial Controller, and Ruby Hornsey to Studio Operations Manager for Shinfield Studios.

We wish them all well in their new roles, and are thrilled to have Beth as part of the team!
