The wonderful team at Resource Productions are looking for a Berkshire Film Officer 🚀

You'll be involved in the exciting day to day operations of the Film Office, supporting major films and TV shows filming in Berkshire. The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of Berkshire, experience working for/with local councils, and fantastic organisational and administrative skills.

We’re so proud to have been able to support the incredible SARAID team and the work they do responding to disasters around the world.

Last weekend they carried out their training exercises at Shinfield Studios.

SARAID (Search and Rescue Assistance in Disasters) is a UK-based charitable incorporated organization (CIO) and non-governmental organization (NGO). They consist entirely of unpaid volunteers - including firefighters, paramedics, structural engineers, doctors, and other professionals from diverse backgrounds - all committed to disaster response efforts.

Gary Francis, National Director of Saraid said:

“on behalf of SARAID I just wanted to say once again a huge thank you for allowing us to use the studios for training, the team were blown away by the facilities and I have to mention how helpful and professional the security staff were, nothing was too much trouble for them.”

This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Jack Pitcher and Alaric Storer to Shinfield Studios! 🎬

In an extraordinary feat of endurance, Jack ran the length of Australia last November—from Perth to Sydney—completing an incredible 95 marathons in just 61 days. 🏃‍♂️
Alongside him, Alaric travelled across the continent, documenting the adventure.

This incredible challenge was undertaken in support of two deeply meaningful causes: SSAFA – the Armed Forces charity – and ARC Wokingham Counselling. For Jack, SSAFA holds a special place in his heart, providing vital support to serving personnel, veterans, and their families when they need it most. Equally important was raising funds for ARC Wokingham, a local counselling service dedicated to improving mental health and emotional well-being in the community.

We were proud to sponsor Jack on this inspiring mission and thrilled to have him visit the studios to share his story.

What an achievement!
