Happy New year from us at Holy Rock Studios. Thank you to the wonderful bands we worked with in 2024.

We’ve worked on some exciting records, but less than we would have normally as a result of personal reasons.

2025 is going to be a little different for us here. One of my best friends and the singer of one of my bands, Casey Chaos of AMEN, passed away recently. His loss is felt deeply.

Following discussions with the right people, with this being such a cataclysmic event for me in my life, I’ve taken the decision to cancel/reschdule all booked sessions I had for the first half of 2025 and thank the bands from the bottom of my heart for understanding the need to rearrange. There are only 3 things happening planned for the new year. The mighty NFD, who’s singer was also good friends with Casey are finishing their album. SPITT ,which is my other band aside from AMEN, will finish the debut record we were half way through recording when Casey’s passing occurred.

The last thing planned other than that I will be working on completing Casey’s legacy and the music he spent so many years creating.

Business will return to normal as soon as the mission is complete. Thank you for your understanding of the less than normal circumstances and patience.

2025 will be a big busy year for us here, and will open bookings again sometime through the year and be back making noise with you all.

Opened in early 2018, and built in a 110 year old Methodist Church, Holy Rock Studios is a high spec professional recording studio. Located just outside of Mansfield, 40 minutes from the centre of Sheffield, out of the way in a small village in the countryside it allows you to get away from any potential distractions and focus solely on the music. With accommodation on site you can fully immerse yourself in the process from beginning to end.

The studio’s have been professionally and acoustically designed and built to enable you to get the best results from any recordings made here. Holy Rock Studios comprises of Studio A and Studio B which both have access to an isolated vocal booth.

Our philosophy on recording is that it takes both the analogue and digital worlds combined to make the greatest sounding recordings and our Studio A is designed to deliver exactly that. Studio A is built around a large format analogue console combined with a digital touch screen console. We want to help you get the best sound you can and will work with you get the most out of you and assist you to achieve your goals!

With onsite private compound parking, accommodation available for up to 10 people and a relaxing living room even when you aren’t in the studio you will be extremely comfortable while making great sounding recordings.
