Hi All. Just wanted to see who is receiving the magazine each month in the post. My distribution guys are very good but I am hearing more people than I expected reporting they have never had one delivered. We print 10,000 copies each month which is high volume for one of these types of mags but we cannot cover every single address, I need to get an idea of areas that are missing out so I can adjust the delivery round if needed.... Can anyone offer feedback?? Thanks, Tony :)

Hi all. The September edition is being put together at the moment and I am wondering if there are any local artists that would like to get some exposure for future editions. Also... we need businesses that would like to get more exposure in the Featured business page. Finally... We need menu pages! If you know anyone who runs a foodie type of business, give them a shove and remind them that their menus will be seen in 10,000 homes and businesses addresses each month! It has to be the most obvious choice... Plus they will be listed in the online platform for free for a year!

Hi everyone! I must apologise for not sending updates here on Local Word. Last time I checked in here there was not a lot in the way of activity but now it seems the 'word' is getting out and suddenly I am getting messages. The August edition is going to press in a few days time so will be out on delivery the last week of July. I am hoping to get more people on board with the magazine soon as the book needs to grow in order to keep going. The online platform is still not done but I have been assured today that it is on schedule.... My schedule was to have the site live about 3 months ago but hey ho, cannot have everything.
If anybody knows any businesses that maybe interested in advertising, please send them my way. The rates are extremely good value and the distribution is pretty wide, not to mention the free online listings, articles and banners which will drive online traffic to businesses directly from search engines into the LW platform.

The first edition of the community based, local magazine is being delivered now to 10,000 residential and business addresses in Lancing & Sompting. Please send feedback on what you think and what you would like to see in the forthcoming monthly mags. Please also note that the online platform will be coming in the next few weeks which will offer more ways of promoting local businesses and a great resource for whats going on in and around the area. :)

Just in case anyone is checking in here.. I apologise for not setting up this area up yet, I have been running around like a headless chicken for weeks now and had a moment. I will endeavour to get it done in the next few days. In more important news.... The community magazine is going to press in a couple of weeks and distribution will start end of April. Thanks everyone for your support, especially Amanda! You are a legend!

Hi All. I have to apologise for this page not being populated yet. I am still eye ball deep in all the other moving parts of this project. As soon as I am closer to the production date and the local search engine is up and running I will start adding posts etc here. Exciting times!
