Explore Art Through History, Industry and Nature
Discover your creativity in a truly inspiring setting: the iconic Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings, the world’s first iron-framed building and a landmark of the Industrial Revolution.
This 14-week art course offers a unique blend of heritage, industry, and nature as creative fuel. Open to both beginners and those with experience, each week introduces a new technique, material, and theme — from rusted metal and factory skylines to floral paintings and insect studies.

Explore both industrial and natural forms through drawing, painting, collage and more.
Learn observational and imaginative techniques. Develop visual storytelling skills.
Connect your work with rich themes of history and landscape.
Engage in group demos, one-to-one guidance, and creative discussion
