This absolutely melted my heart this morning.

I walked in to Ollie’s bedroom and he was sat tucking one of his teddy’s in rubbing his face saying “you look after my bed Teddy, I’ll see you in the morning” 🥹

He asked to stay at his grandparents house tonight. Some of you will remember that he did this for the first time ever last Friday, and it all went to plan and he really enjoyed himself.

He took the 3 Teddy’s he sleeps with every night to his grandparents with him, but he was concerned about his bed being left on its own tonight so gave it a teddy for company.

He has his moments don’t get me wrong 🤣 but we are super proud of the little character he is becoming and the personality he is developing 🩵

Who else loves Afternoon Tea? 🫖 🥪 🍰

I booked somewhere new for me and my best friend to try for her birthday last week and it did not disappoint, we both think it’s quite possibly the nicest one we’ve ever had, and let me tell you, we have tried a lot 🤣

Being able to do this on a Tuesday afternoon makes me so grateful for this life 💕

At his swimming lesson this morning, Ollie completed his first ever swimming aware and was given a certificate and badge!
We are so proud of him, and I am so happy and grateful that I’m in a position to be able to take him to swimming lessons on a Tuesday morning.
Moments like this make me crave the time where my business will allow me to reduce my employed hours even more than it has done already, so that days like today don’t always have to be just a Tuesday 🥰

18 months fighting for part time hours at work and finally, here I am on a random Tuesday with my son and parents visiting a National Trust property.

My heart is full.

The fight was so incredibly hard, but so very worth it.

Lovely time celebrating Galentines Day with the girls 💜
Me and my husband have been together so long now that we haven’t celebrated Valentines Day for actual years 😂 we just do the anniversary or when we got together and when we got married (because there’s 14 years between them 🤣)
But it was so lovely today have a some time being me and not mum or wife (although I obviously love being those things more than anything in the world).
Food, some terrible painting, face made, nails and so many laughs!
Now I’m home with my boys 🩵

What. A. Week. We’ve all had this horrible flu that’s going round - it’s honestly awful. I don’t do being ill in any way shape or form, but I actually ended up having to go to A&E yesterday with breathing problems and ended up leaving with an inhaler!

Then today Ollie slept 2 hours later than normal which isn’t like him at all, he’s always up between 6-6:30. When I eventually woke him up, he couldn’t open his eyes, they were so swollen, he was super hot and he couldn’t stay awake 😫 luckily our drs are amazing and offered an appt within 30 mins of me phoning. He now has conjunctivitis and an ear infection, caused by the flu and now has eye drops and antibiotics!

Anyway, he’s in bed, Father Christmas has been. I’m having a Lemsip and then I’m going for a nice long shower and to wash my hair in the hope we’re all feeling better in the morning.

This Christmas is turning out to be SO magical! I thought I wouldn’t get this experience until next year when Ollie’s a bit older, but he’s so excited and really getting involved this year and I’m loving it! It’s so sweet to see. My heart is so full 🥰🎄🎅🏻
