It was a pleasure for WEB PIXEL to deliver a beginner-level Branding and Logo Creation using Canva workshop at the YMCA yesterday. ✨

A big thank you to YMCA, stoke on Trent, for the opportunity to connect with the community and learn more about what they’re truly looking for developing their digital skills.

Huge appreciation to WEB PIXEL team, Rhys Hill for leading an engaging presentation and workshop, Nebil Youssef for organizing the event, Kandiah Varnika for providing valuable one-to-one support during the session.

🌿 My First Parkrun! 🏃‍♀ ✨

What a fantastic way to start a Saturday - joining the parkrun at Trentham Gardens, Stoke for the first time!

A huge thanks to the parkrun team, all the amazing volunteers, and the Trentham Gardens staff for arranging such a well-organised, energising, and inclusive event. The atmosphere was full of positivity, friendly faces, and the beauty of nature all around. 🌳

Special thanks to Deepshikha Prasad, Trudi Barnard, and Arthur Barnard for the encouragement and inspiration to take part, your support truly made a difference. 🙌

This morning also reminded me of George Bettany - MARA, and his powerful guidance on mindful running. It's not just about fitness, it's about balance, presence, and community.

Looking forward to many more Parkruns ahead! 🏃‍♂💚

🎯 Coding and Creativity!

It was a pleasure to run a fun and creative coding session at the YMCA Stoke on Trent last Saturday!

A big thank you to Nebil Youssef for coordinating with YMCA and making this amazing opportunity possible.

Using the Scratch coding platform, the young coders brought their imagination to life - building their creativity, boosting their confidence with technology, and developing problem-solving skills in a fun and engaging way.

Huge thanks to the WEB PIXEL team – Nebil Youssef, Kandiah Varnika, Ololade Da Silva-Ojo, and Reuben Howell - for helping make this event such a success. 👏

🌿 A Mind-Refreshing Day with the WEB PIXEL Digital Design Team.

Stepping away from our screens and into nature was just what we needed. Our team day out was all about green spaces, fresh air, inspiration, and most importantly, team spirit.

It’s been an inspiring few months working with bright young minds at WEB PIXEL!

These individuals, Rhys Hill, Nebil Youssef, Kandiah Varnika, Sebastian Jamieson, Chisomeje Ibekwe, Hadia Iqbal, Reuben Howelland Shania Jayakody, came from diverse backgrounds, each with a shared curiosity about the digital world. It was a privilege to help them explore their passions and guide them toward meaningful paths - all with a focus on giving back to the Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme, and Staffordshire communities.

Throughout the Digital Design course, I witnessed:

🎯 Incredible teamwork
🚍 Innovative project ideas
💯 Peer-to-peer support
🖥️ Real impact through digital upskilling in the local community

I’m proud of what we achieved together and excited for what’s ahead. Looking forward to delivering even more collaborative projects, courses, and community events in the future!

It was great to attend the Peter Coates MSc Entrepreneurship Alumni Networking Event yesterday at University of Staffordshire!

A huge thank you to Sisay , Harrison, and the Staffordshire University staff for organizing such an inspirational evening. Your efforts in bringing the community together are truly appreciated.

Spent the weekend hiking through the breathtaking landscapes of Snowdonia with some amazing friends. ✨

From serene lakes to dramatic peaks, every step was a reminder of how powerful nature can be for our wellbeing, mental clarity, and sense of adventure. It wasn’t just a hike - it was a challenge, a reset, and a celebration of connection with nature and good company.
