‘Project Servator will be on the green at Royal Portrush’

The Police Service of Northern Ireland is deploying Project Servator at The 153rd Open at Royal Portrush which returns to the North Coast this week. Officers in uniform and officers in plain-clothes will be deployed this week, and we will be engaging with spectators and local businesses to encourage everyone to be our eyes and ears, by reporting any suspicious or unusual behaviour.

Trust your instincts and please report anything suspicious to police on the ground.

You can also report online at https://orlo.uk/FbXue or call us on 101.

Always dial 999 in an emergency.

🌱 Nature & Stress Relief

Did you know that spending just 20 minutes in nature can significantly lower your stress levels and boost your mood? As someone who’s spent countless hours in the wildest corners of our planet, I can confirm—nature truly is the best therapy.

Whenever life feels overwhelming, I lace up my boots and head outdoors. The mountains have a special way of putting things into perspective: the crisp air, the endless horizons, the quiet moments above the clouds. Out here, stress melts away, and clarity finds you in unexpected ways.

One of my favorite rituals after a challenging expedition is to simply pause, breathe deeply, and let the natural world do its magic. Science backs it up, too: time in nature can improve focus, spark creativity, and even strengthen your immune system.

How do you recharge and find balance when life gets busy?

Share your go-to nature escapes or stress-relief tips below—I’d love to hear your stories!
