Hi Big Wide World,
We've been a bit quiet recently and though we would love to barrage the social world with teasers and placeholders for better things to come, we are sad to write a post that has essentially been unimaginable to ourselves since shortly after our inception.
This post is to announce the dispersion and thus the end of our humble music machine that is Lead Shot Hazard. Sad to say, all things must come to an end. (Except the tonal range of a trumpet!)
Needless to say it's been a thrilling ride where we have made more friends than we could have imagined and enjoyed ourselves to the fullest extent as well a having played some unbelievable shows and festivals.
Those that follow our activities closely will know that several members feature in many other projects within our humble UK scene and we are sure there will continue to be many more new projects yet to form from our members.
We will be keeping the social avenues, bandcamp etc open and plastering them, (where appropriate) with these projects so you can see the avenues we all move on to and hopefully enjoy some of their fruits. CDs and downloads will be avaliable at a "pay what you want" rate and be kept alive on streaming platforms.
Finally, we want to say THANK YOU. Thank you to everyone who came to a show, bought our merch, listened to our music, sung our songs back to us, who got sweaty in a skank pit and all of your epic support during our journey as a band! We honestly cannot express how much love and appreciation that we have for you all!
And also massive shout outs to all the promoters, bands and individuals that have been part of and contributed to our story. We would list them, but it's far too mammoth a task for 14 years worth. So please look at all the people and projects connected to our social links and scope them out. Please continue to support the UK and global DIY SkaPunk network. Keep music live.
