🚗 Peugeot 208 GTI Dyno Run at WG Motorworks!
Today we put my Peugeot 208 GTI on the dyno at WG Motorworks in Sittingbourne – a well-known BMW specialist. Since this GTI uses a BMW-derived engine, we’re testing how close it gets to the factory 205bhp (208PS) claim from Peugeot. With just a cat back exhaust and running Shell VPower fuel, will it make more power, less power, or cause problems on the rollers?

In this video from Dans Automotive Service, we take on a tricky issue with a 2007 Land Rover Freelander 2.2 Diesel showing the battery light on, even though the alternator and battery tested fine. If you’ve ever wondered why your battery warning light stays on when everything seems to work, this step-by-step guide will help you.

Using the wiring diagram, we traced the LIN Bus wire from the alternator to the ECU. A quick continuity test showed a clear fault. When checking the alternator plug wiring, it came off in our hand — completely detached from the loom! By stripping back the fuel filter housing, we repaired and rejoined the wiring correctly. The result? A fully fixed Freelander, with no need for an expensive alternator or ECU replacement.

Welcome back to Dans Automotive Service! In this video, we take on an epic BTCC inspired 90’s race car project that brings pure nostalgia and raw performance. Growing up in the 90’s, these touring cars racing around the track got me hooked – and when the chance came up to grab this 2.3 Turbo 5 Cylinder beast, I couldn’t resist!

This full race car build includes: manual gearbox conversion, roll cage install, racing seats, steering wheel swap, interior strip-out, new wheels, and maybe even a big brake kit upgrade. The goal? Drive from the UK to Germany, push this 30-year-old machine around the legendary Nürburgring, and (hopefully) make it back home in one piece. Will it survive the trip, or end up on the back of a tow truck?
