Hello big band friends and fans, I’m sorry to report that Coastal Sound radio has suddenly closed its doors bringing to an end our regular Wednesday evening Big Band Bash.

It has a been an absolute pleasure to have been able to showcase and promote the best new and contemporary big band music over the last four years. My thanks go to Chris and everyone associated with Coastal Sound for their support and to everyone who has contributed and sent music to play on the programme. More importantly the biggest thanks go to all our listeners across the world, for without you we would be nothing.

We hope that Steve Walker’s Big Band Bash will return soon but please bear with us as we plan our next move. In the meantime if you are having withdrawal symptoms you can listen again by clicking below 😀
