This evening we would just like to take our time to thank all of our local & non local emergency service workers who keep us safe day in day out.

We know this year especially has been massive pressure on our emergency services with numerous drowning throughout the space of weeks these guys risk there own lives to save yours and we can’t be anymore proud of you all.

🚨Appreciation Post🚨

As some of you know yesterday was the final day of patrols for our RNLI Lifeguards down here in Skegness until next May.

Some scenarios they have faced this year alone aren’t sights anybody should have to witness in life. From multiple missing children, dogs swimming out to sea, 1st aids, & unfortunately multiple tragic drownings this season. but with no fear they run into the danger & challenging situations to save lives.

We truly Thank You All RNLI Lifeguards Lincolnshire see you all next season.❤️

Not long before the Big Ben Tower departs from the town. We must say it’s certainly attracted the crowds over Summer season and would love to see it return again in the future. We will give a closer time scale on the pull down once verified.

🚨 RTC Update 🚨

Lincolnshire Police are saddened to report that a woman has died following a collision at Croft near Skegness yesterday (1 September).

The collision was reported to have happened on Monday 8.10am and involved the driver of a grey Range Rover and the driver of a white tanker. The driver of the tanker sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital.

The driver of the Range Rover, a woman in her 30s, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Her family have been made aware and are being supported by specially trained officers from Lincolnshire Police.

Lincs police are urging anybody who witnessed the incident or with dashcam footage leading up to the collision, please get in touch with the Serious Collision Investigation Unit.

🚨Road Traffic Collision🚨

Lincolnshire Police are still dealing with a serious RTC (Road Traffic Collision) on the A52, Wainfleet Road around the area of Sid Dennis.

We are aware of motorists still speeding down the Wainfleet stretch before the incident despite the massive signage across the road visibly telling you ‘Police Incident Road Ahead Closed’ we urge you to be responsible and show care towards the roads and its users driving.

🚨 Road Closed due to serious RTC 🚨

Wainfleet Road coming into Skegness & out is totally blocked due to a serious RTC (Road Traffic Collision) outside Sid Dennis scrap yard, Lincolnshire Police stated ‘this will be closed for atlest 6 hours’

We advise anyone planning to leave the town to use alternate route likewise with anybody heading into Skegness please use alternate routes.
