Wow! What a morning!

Thanks so much to all our amazing performers and for everyone who came down to listen!

There is some serious talent kicking around Sleaford!

Big thanks to the Zone for inviting us down.

Don't forget, tomorrow we've got the jam session from 11am-1pm, all under 18s are invited!

This weekend ! 🎶🎸🥁🚗

We will be at Sleaford Market Place this morning with the Zone!

We have students from the local area performing from 11-1 pm. A real range of music going on from Bille Eilish to SOAD!

Then we are off to Lincoln to play a show with our band Soaper at Southside. This gig starts with a film showing of P Rock The Doc , then performances from Wrong You and ourselves! Doors at 7pm.

Sunday morning, we return to Sleaford Market place for a jam session from 11-1pm. All students are welcome, even complete beginners. We will have an electric kit, guitar amps, bass amp (please bring your own guitars) and vocal mics.

Then we are chocca at the studio with bands rehearsing till 10pm!

This weekend, we shall be taking over Sleaford Market Place between 11am - 1pm on Saturday AND Sunday

Saturday we have performances from and many more
(Still slots available if you'd like to perform)

Sunday, we have a jam session that is open to EVERY student, no experience necessary!

We will have an electric drum kit, guitar amps, bass amp and vocal mics, plus percussion etc.

The electric kit will be donated to the Zone to take with them on their travels around the county, so more kids can try the drums 🥁

So get yourselves down, even just to support and check out what else the Zone has to offer 😀

A HUGE congratulations to Henrietta for passing her Grade 8 Trinity Rock and Pop exam with a Distinction! 93/100 !!

I started teaching Henrietta in Year 3/4 when I worked for the LMS at her primary school around 2018. We were working on her Grade 2, and also would perform at school events.
I left that job so unfortunately had to say goodbye to her and many other students.
Our paths crossed again last year and it's been an absolute joy to teach her again. She has developed into an extremely talented musician 🎶

And that's a wrap!

played their final gig last night at Metheringham Beer Festival to an amazing crowd!

Thank you so much to everyone who came down!

I feel very emotional today to say goodbye to this group. I've been mentoring them for the last 3/4 years and to watch them grow into the musicians they are now has been an absolute joy.

They've played gigs all over the UK, won competitions, overcome challenges and it's also been so lovely to see them become such good friends.

I wish Rob and Henry all the best with their music studies in Manchester and York.

You will always be a part of the Shug family, and I know Shug himself would have absolutely loved you guys.

I am so proud.

Who knows, we may get some reunion shows out of them when the boys are back for their holidays.

A huge thanks to for having us and to for such great sound and lighting!

Tonight!

Our resident student rock band The Shugs have their final show at Meg Beer Fest!

Rob (singer) and Henry (guitarist) are off to study Music and Performing Arts at University in a couple of weeks, so we send them off with all of our best wishes and that they have the BEST time at Uni & achieve everything they want from life 🤘

The whole band is an extremely talented bunch of individuals. It's been an absolute pleasure to mentor them. They have gained so much experience and I just can't wait to see what the future holds.

So, make sure you get down to Meg Beer Fest today, The Shugs are on at 7pm.

We will be hosting another performance opportunity at The Teenage Market on Saturday 20th Sept from 11am-1pm. There will be a full drum kit, two guitar amps, bass amp and a pa with mics.

You can play a maximum of three songs (fifteen minutes).

All styles of music welcome and of all abilities. This is a safe and supportive space for everyone.

Hey everyone,

Our band Soaper — a DIY grunge/alt-rock duo has got 8 days left on our Kickstarter to fund our debut album "Bubbledumb ", coming this Autumn.

Right now we’re 57% funded, with about £1,000 left to go — and if we don’t reach the full target, we won’t get anything.

The album’s basically finished — it’s mixed and ready to go. We just need your help getting it over the line so we can press physical copies and actually release it properly.
